by Aimee Deeken, posted Jan 26th 2011 8:20AM
In the final challenge on 'The Fashion Show' (Tue., 10PM ET on BRAVO), Dominique, Jeffrey and Calvin had one week to create 10 looks (with a little help from former contestants). After the last fashion show, the judges chose Calvin and Jeffrey as the final two designers. "You have both surprised us and delighted us throughout this competition," said Iman. But who had the "ultimate collection"?
Iman announced the winner by calling forward the model wearing his design: Jeffrey. "I'm on top of the world! A weight is just, like, gone," he said.
TVR Awards -- Reality TV's Most Judgmental Judges and Crankiest Contestants (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Dec 28th 2010 5:20PM
Reality TV -- with all its challenges, critiques, eliminations and votes -- is bound to create friction between judges and contestants. And after looking back at the year that was, it's clear that Simon Cowell wasn't the only snippy judge in the land of reality-TV competitions. We've found several other examples of testy critics, and their victims aren't always quietly stoic, either. Check out our video playlist of berating judges and cocky competitors. Which judge or contestant do you think was the most out-of-line?'Fashion Show' Judge Iman Argues with Contestant, Calls Dress 'Fashion Emergency' (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Nov 10th 2010 10:30AM
On the season 2 premiere of 'The Fashion Show' (Tue., 10PM ET on BRAVO), contestants Calvin Tran and Francine Simmons both display bad attitudes, but Iman has the last word. Francine is angered first by Calvin's styling choices, then by his flippant: "We already vote. Done." She wasn't there for the team vote, and he replies, "You I accuse, honey. You I accuse." Francine replies, "I'm a what? You can't even speak, so just shut the [beep] up!"
In front of the judges, Calvin claims the team's "golden" dress would go well with judge/supermodel Iman's skin tone. "It's not golden; it's yellow," she protests.
Calvin: "Tomato, tomato."
Iman: "It's not a tomato or a tomato. It's a yellow ... It is a fashion emergency, and it needs an evacuation."
Both designers are in the bottom two. Fellow judge Isaac Mizrahi tells them, "Francine, we didn't like the attitude of your dress, and, Calvin, we didn't like your attitude." So who's "out of fashion"?
Supermodel Iman Joins Bravo's 'Fashion Show'
by Chris Harnick, posted May 12th 2010 12:45PM
Kelly Rowland is out, Iman is in on Bravo's 'The Fashion Show.' According to the Hollywood Reporter, the supermodel will join Isaac Mizrahi for hosting duties when the series returns later this year.
"We are happy to welcome Iman to the Bravo family," said Frances Berwick, general manager and executive vice president of Bravo, in a statement. "Breaking barriers in the fashion industry, Iman is a true pioneer and her unparalleled credibility will inspire the contestants and be a perfect match to the always exciting, Isaac Mizrahi."
Iman, who is married to David Bowie, is replacing former Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland as co-host. The supermodel is CEO of IMAN Cosmetics, Skincare & Fragrances, a line female products. Iman also serves as host of 'Project Runway Canada.'
'The Fashion Show' replaced 'Project Runway' as Bravo's fashion competition series last year.
Best and Worst TV of 2009: Michael P.'s list
by Michael Pascua, posted Dec 20th 2009 3:08PM

A year has passed and there has been a lot of best and worst lists here at TV Squad. I know tons of reality television shows have grazed my TV so I've compiled a list of the best and worst reality shows of 2009.
Finding the best shows are easy, but it's hard to pare down the worst list. I define "worst" as shows that had potential and never did anything with it. While shows like I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here and anything involving the words "Real Housewives" aren't mentioned, they aren't the worst because they started at rock bottom and had nowhere to go. Several of the worst shows I've mentioned could just go through some tweaking and it could have been amazing.

Do you like Top Chef Masters? Tough
by Bob Sassone, posted Jul 1st 2009 3:01PM
Later this afternoon I'll have my What's On Tonight picks posted, but I did want to give Top Chef Masters fans a heads up about tonight's episode: there isn't one.For some reason, Bravo is replacing this week's episode of the cooking competition show with a special episode of The Fashion Show. And this isn't one of those deals where one show is put in place of another show but that other show is rescheduled to another night during the week, maybe in the slot of the first show. No, Top Chef Masters won't be seen at all this week (except for reruns of previous episodes, of course).
Fans will have to wait until next week for the next new episode. (And if you're wondering what's on tomorrow night at 10 in the regular time slot for The Fashion Show, it's a repeat of tonight's episode.)
Oh well. I'm not watching The Fashion Show so I guess I'll catch The Philanthropist.
