Terrell Owens Breaks Down Over His Financial Problems on 'The T.O. Show' (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Sep 6th 2011 5:15PM
Terrell Owens worries about finances on 'The T.O. Show'Terrell Owens is used to multi-million dollar NFL contracts, not the uncertainty of unemployment. While rehabbing his knee and trying to get back into football, he hit a low point on the 'T.O. Show' (Mondays, 9:30PM on VH1). Feeling dire about his financial situation and frustrated by his rehab, Owens couldn't help but shed some tears.

Since he could no longer count on an NFL salary, Owens was trying to be more conscious of his accounts, but the person he had managing them was nowhere to be found. "This has been going on for the last... three to four months," said Owens. "Every time I call about my accounts or what have you, he's always gone. Football season is on a standstill, so I have no income at this point. None."

Terrell Owens Rehabs His Leg on 'The T.O. Show' (VIDEO)

Terrell Owens rehabs his leg on 'The T.O. Show' The NFL regular season is just a couple of weeks away, and Terrell Owens is still sitting on the sidelines, rehabbing and hoping a team will pick him up. Before anyone takes a chance on him, he needs to show his left leg is completely healed after an ACL tear. Owens gave us a glimpse into that rehab process on 'The T.O. Show' (Mondays, 10PM on VH1).

"I know that if I don't get my knee right, I'll probably never ever play football again," he said. "Nobody really knows the extent of my injury, so my mindset is just to really just go into this rehab session on day one, put my head down, full steam ahead, and just keep going forward."

Terrell Owens Admits His Relationship Shortcomings on 'The T.O. Show' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 23rd 2011 6:43AM
'The T.O. Show' premiereWhen one half of his PR team sat down to talk with Terrell Owens and his ex-girlfriend Kari about why their relationship didn't work out on 'The T.O. Show' (Mon., 9:30PM ET on VH1), Owens was surprisingly forthcoming and open.

Kita went so far as to think what happened was a genuine breakthrough for the outrageous football personality. He took ownership of is failures and immaturity in their relationship, comparing it to the immaturity he's show on the field and in other aspects of his life.

Maybe it's because he was laid up with a broken leg, but Owens was surprisingly reflective and self-aware. "You're probably more mature than I am when it comes to relationships," he admitted to Kari, who had a very warm smile at hearing his words.

Terrell Owens on 'Access Hollywood Live'Teams haven't been banging down Terrell Owens' door to sign him for the upcoming NFL season, but he will get on with his TV career when Season 3 of 'The T.O. Show' premieres Monday on VH1. Owens is rehabbing an injury he suffered last season with the Cincinnati Bengals, which he addressed, among other things, on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekday, syndicated on NBC).

"Obviously I didn't finish the season," he said, also mentioning events in his personal life. "Two or three games left to go I had a meniscus surgery, so from there on, there's a lot of things that kind of have transpired. From friends taking money, a lot of financial situations." He declined to say how the injury happened, except to say that it "wasn't anything crazy," and says he has been working hard to rehab and still expects to play football.

T.O. Invites Kita's Ex to a Baby Shower on 'The T.O. Show' (VIDEO)

The T.O. ShowThis seems more like a scene from 'The Bold & The Beautiful' than from a reality show, with its tears, dramatic, tinkly music and overdone acting. It's from last night's 'The T.O. Show' (Sundays at 10PM on VH-1). T.O. invited manager Kita's ex-boyfriend to a party without asking her first. Oh, her boyfriend is married. And oh, they broke up and she thought she already had closure.

At first she doesn't want to talk to him, but if she didn't there wouldn't be much reason to watch, right?

The ex says that he didn't lie to her, but not telling a woman that you're married from the get-go seems like a pretty big thing to not tell someone.

After Ryan Jenkins mess, VH1's president talks of a different direction

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 28th 2009 1:03PM
Megan Wants a MillionaireI paraphrased that title, but you'll see what I mean. And it's damage control more than dissatisfaction with what VH1 has become, considering ratings are higher than ever. Still, after the murder/suicide of one of their reality show participants, something had to be said. So Tom Calderone, the president of VH1, told the LA Times that the network doesn't want to be known for infinite spin-offs of their Flavor of Love and Surreal Life types of shows. Which means skanks and hos.

Which is exactly what they're known for. Before this Megan Wants a Millionaire/I Love Money debacle, they had no problem with it. Ratings were up, proving that there are people out there who will tune into all those atrocities to the senses.
