'Bachelorette' Ashley Hebert's Sister Chrystie Says She Was Wrong About J.P.
by Catherine Lawson, posted Aug 4th 2011 8:00AM
One of the more memorable parts of this week's 'Bachelorette' season finale was when prospective husband J.P. Rosenbaum faced a tough grilling from Ashley Hebert's family.Especially big sister Chrystie Corns, who even made Ashley cry with her assessment that J.P. is, well, a bit boring and definitely not a good match for her.
Now, in an extraordinary about-face -- brought on by a really awkward family reunion, perhaps? -- 'Extreme Couponing' alum Chrystie says she's had a change of heart.
She's even gone so far as to label J.P. her sister's "knight in shining armor."
Who Did Ashley Hebert Choose on 'The Bachelorette' Finale?
by Catherine Lawson, posted Aug 2nd 2011 4:20AM
It's been a tough old season for Ashley Hebert. Usually it's 'The Bachelorette' who turns men down, but over the last few weeks we've seen a record number of suitors choose to walk away from her and the show. However, on last night's Season 7 finale Ashley finally got that romantic ending she'd been looking for.
On a beach in Fiji she tearfully accepted a proposal of marriage from the last man
The 34-year-old construction manager from Roslyn, New York faced a tough grilling from her family and beat out Ben Flajnik to win Ashley's heart in the end.
But did Ashley find true love? Or was it all rigged for the viewers' benefit?
'The Bachelorette': From Three Guys to Four to the Final Two (VIDEO)

This week, an eliminated bachelor flew to Fiji to try and get another chance with Ashley Hebert on 'The Bachelorette' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC), and it wasn't Bentley. It wasn't Ames either, though we suspect that's because he still may not have fully registered that he was eliminated last week.!!SPOILER ALERT!!
Apparently, Ryan thought getting eliminated in the middle of a date may indicate a hasty decision on Ashley's part, so he came back and gave Ashley a second chance to consider him.
"I don't know if after I left if you sat back and you regretted anything, if you thought ... maybe we should have had more of a chance," he told her. "If that's in your mind at all, then I want to spend more time with you."
'The Bachelorette': Ashley Meets the Guys' Families, Sends One Home (VIDEO)

Ashley Hebert took a whirlwind tour to four different families on 'The Bachelorette' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC). It was the home visits week, which meant the four remaining bachelors would have to deal with all the skeletons of their families being laid bare before Ashley.!!SPOILER ALERT!!
Actually, it was a pretty skeleton-free affair, meaning Ashley didn't learn any horrible secrets, or experience any crazy situations to help her make that agonizing decision to send one of those guys right back to the family she was just cozying and smiling with.
Emily Maynard Confirms Brad Womack Split, But She's Still in Love With Him (VIDEO)

Emily Maynard came back to the mansion where she met Brad Womack on 'The Bachelor' to talk about and confirm their break-up. The interview aired as part of 'The Bachelorette' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC) and saw Maynard adamant in her support of Womack."I'll always be in love with Brad," she told Chris Harrison. "No one will ever hear me say a bad word about him, nor will I tolerate anybody else saying anything bad about him."
So be careful what you say in the comments, as Maynard may be reading and she will not tolerate any Brad-bashing!
Bentley's Back, But is Ashley Still Swooning for Him on 'The Bachelorette'? (VIDEO)

Ashley and the remaining boys are halfway around the world in Hong Kong on 'The Bachelorette' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC), but apparently that still isn't far enough to get away from Bentley.Quite possibly the biggest d-bag to ever participate in a reality show must have decided he needed some more screen time if he was willing to fly to Hong Kong just to mess with Ashley some more.
He slipped right into his slimy, flirty persona and she was melting right into it for a while, but finally the truth started to come out and apparently Bentley let her off the hook. Only then did Ashley finally see him for what he is. Either that, or she's just hurt and angry and lashing out.
Ames Takes a Hard Hit to the Head Kickboxing on 'The Bachelorette' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 21st 2011 12:05AM
There's an expression about taking one for the team, but Ames took one for the heart on 'The Bachelorette' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC). Someone -- we're looking at you, producers! -- decided that a great date for Ashley and the boys would be to have the guys pair off and fight one another.Since they're in Thailand, Muay Thai kickboxing was the fighting style and the men were given some training, but still it made for some uncomfortable moments for Ashley, as the spectator.
Maybe she's not the kind of girl who likes to watch two guys fighting for her affection ... well, literally fighting. She obviously doesn't mind the concept of guys competing, or else she wouldn't be on this show.
'The Bachelorette' Season 7, Episode 4 Recap

['The Bachelorette' - 'Season 7, Episode 4']If I hear the name "Bentley" one more time ...
As this week's 'Bachelorette' began, I cheerily hypothesized that taking a shot every time Ashley mentioned the B. word would result in a much more enjoyable viewing experience, but a quarter of the way through the show, I realized that the entire audience would be dead of alcohol poisoning by 10PM if they attempted it.
To be fair, that still might have been preferable to watching Ashley lament the premature exit of her One True Love all week long, but it probably wouldn't have made a good impression on ABC's advertisers.
Still, as infuriatingly oblivious as Ashley was this week, it's easy to forget that she wasn't privy to the dastardly side of Bentley we've seen from the start, since I'm fairly sure she wouldn't have been making gooey eyes up at the sky and taking pensive boat rides in Phuket if she'd heard him whining about how annoying it was that she wouldn't stop crying while he was trying to dump her.
