A 'Fantastic Voyage' Through Bonnie Hunt's Body (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 26th 2010 4:00PM
Prepare yourselves for a side of Bonnie Hunt you've never seen before. Two crew members from 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated) are shrunk to microscopic size and take a trip through Hunt's body in a parody of the sci-fi classic 'Fantastic Voyage.'

All goes well in the journey through Hunt's body until the crew comes dangerously close to Hunt's "nether region," then narrowly avoids a head-on collision with a whole cupcake with sprinkles.

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 23rd 2010 4:00PM
A crew member's dog runs amok on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated), dashing from backstage into the audience, and ultimately ending up on the couch next to Bonnie Hunt where she gleefully chews a newspaper apart.

The show grinds to a screeching halt as the dog, whose name is Bella, sprints into the audience and runs a gauntlet of audience members looking to pet her. After the dog's owner tries and fails to corral the pooch, she leaps onto the interview couch and attacks a newspaper supplied by Hunt. "She loves to read the paper," Hunt said.

Volcanic Ash Rains Down on Bonnie Hunt (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 21st 2010 4:30PM
It appears that air travel isn't the only thing that's been disrupted by last week's eruption of an Icelandic volcano. The effects of the natural disaster have now been felt by 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated) as well.

The lights dim, a thunderous sound is heard, and a large amount of fake volcanic ash is dumped on Bonnie Hunt during her show. Despite herself, Hunt is unable to suppress a laugh. "Are these from my mother's leftover newspapers?" she asked.

Tim Gunn Shares Theory on Bad Fashion and Monkeys (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 20th 2010 3:30PM
On 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Tim Gunn of 'Project Runway' shared an interesting theory on bad fashion that somehow relates to zoo animals. According to Gunn, perpetrators of bad fashion get used to the way they look in the same way a visitor to the zoo becomes acclimated to the terrible smell in the monkey house.

Gunn first describes how the smell of primates at the zoo becomes less and less noticeable over time. Then, he compares the same phenomenon to those guilty of making awful fashion choices. "I can't help but think that they look at themselves in the mirror and think, 'You look ridiculous.' But then, by standing there for 20 minutes or so, they think, 'You know, it's not so bad now,'" he said.

Chris Kattan Shows Off Shirt That Changes Color (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 19th 2010 4:00PM
We're not quite sure why Chris Kattan appeared on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated) today sporting a shirt that changes color along with his body temperature. And, apparently, neither is he.

Kattan demonstrates the color-changing power of the shirt by breathing on a portion of it, creating a patch of white. "Why did I buy this stupid thing? Like, if I'm sweating it's going to go .... " Kattan said, lifting his jacket to reveal streaks of white starting at his armpit that run the length of his shirt. Eww.

Barrett Foa's Dog Eats Sunglasses (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 19th 2010 4:00PM
As a present to himself, Barrett Foa of 'NCIS: Los Angeles' decided to splurge on a pair of pricey sunglasses. But, his dog Buddy had other ideas, he said on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated), displaying the shades after they'd been thoroughly chewed by his pet.

"So, these are my new sunglasses," Foa said, putting on a horribly mangled pair of sunglasses with an arm askew and one lens missing. "Buddy the dog got at them. They're collapsible ... now."

David Duchovny Says Parents 'Too Involved' in Kids' Lives (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 16th 2010 4:00PM
We're glad you're not our daddy, David Duchovny. According to Duchovny, the problem with kids today is that parents are far too involved in their lives, and not hands-off like his father was with him, he said on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

"Parents are just way too involved in kids' lives now," Duchovny said. "It's true. My son, when he was three-years-old, he was in t-ball, and there were forty parents watching these kids miss a t-ball. I had to beg my father to come to the little league championship game, right? So, by the time these kids are five, their parents have seen them in 700 sporting events. And it's too much."

'Deadliest Catch's' Sig Hansen Insults His Older Female Fans (VIDEO)

by Harley W. Lond, posted Apr 9th 2010 6:54PM
Man overboard! The 'Deadliest Catch's' Sig Hansen didn't score any points with Bonnie Hunt-- or the audience -- on Friday's edition of 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

Hunt likes the show -- "Why are we so hooked on this show? I love this show" she said. But the captain wasn't sure about his show's popularity. It's a "guy's soap opera," he said. Then he added, "We have a lot of fans who are women in their later years." Offended, Hunt said "Well I watch it all the time." Sensing he had put his foot in his mouth, the captain put it in even deeper. "You're in the younger crowd. So you're more after my brother Edgar," he said. "I get the older ones -- the ones that gravity has affected." Those were fighting words for Hunt.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's Worst Date Ever (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 9th 2010 4:30PM
If this story by Jennifer Love Hewitt is any indication, then dating for celebrities isn't any more pleasant than it is for the rest of us. On 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated), Hewitt said her worst dating experience was with a man sporting snakeskin loafers and hair like Donald Trump, who presented her with a childish *NSYNC backpack and brought altoids "for their kiss at the end of the night."

As if things could get any worse, Hewitt said that, during their date, the man got hit by a ball while in a batting cage and fell to the ground "crying for his mommy." At the end of the night during their goodbye kiss, Hewitt feigned a sore throat. But, this didn't seem to deter her suitor, who proclaimed that Hewitt "might be the one."

Thomas Gibson's Kids Visit at Work, Get Fake Bullet Wounds (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 8th 2010 4:30PM
We imagine that, for most kids, visiting dad at work isn't as exciting as when Thomas Gibson's kids stop by the set of 'Criminal Minds.'

In fact, Gibson's two boys were once lucky enough to have a makeup artist for the show place fake latex bullet holes on their hands on arms, he said on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

J.B. Smoove Riffs on Mosquitoes on 'Bonnie Hunt' (VIDEO)

by Harley W. Lond, posted Apr 6th 2010 7:23PM
J.B. Smoove was on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated) Tuesday to plug this weekend's opening of 'Date Night,' he which he plays a cabbie alongside Tin Fey and Steve Carell, and the topic shifted to bugs.

Smoove has a thing for mosquitoes -- he hates them (but then who doesn't) and riffed some funny bits on the insects. "I never trust mosquitoes at all," he told Hunt. "Ever see a mosquito?" Smoove jumped up and imitated a mosquito flying; mosquitoes, in his opinion, move "like horny old men."

Bonnie HuntThings on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated) got a little risqué ... while the crew celebrated the birth of stage manager Alec Potter's baby.

Bonnie Hunt Drinks Hot Sauce for Charity (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Apr 5th 2010 3:30PM
We like spicy food too, but this is ridiculous! Bonnie Hunt polishes off a half-filled bottle of hot sauce for charity on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated), then attempts to cool her seared taste buds by splashing herself in the face with a glass of milk.

To her credit, Hunt makes her way through the hot sauce in record time and only seems to regret her decision toward the end. Note Hunt's pained expression and the delighted applause from her guests and audience when she douses herself with milk.

Thanks to Kimora Lee Simmons, Twitter just became even more disposable. Simmons, who recently started tweeting only a little more than a week ago, revealed her Twitter name and encouraged all those watching to send her tweets on 'The Bonnie Hunt Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

However, there's one important rule of etiquette for those who want to Twitter with Simmons. "Don't curse at me," she said, "because I'll block you."
