Best and Worst TV of 2009: Michael P.'s list

A year has passed and there has been a lot of best and worst lists here at TV Squad. I know tons of reality television shows have grazed my TV so I've compiled a list of the best and worst reality shows of 2009.

Finding the best shows are easy, but it's hard to pare down the worst list. I define "worst" as shows that had potential and never did anything with it. While shows like I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here and anything involving the words "Real Housewives" aren't mentioned, they aren't the worst because they started at rock bottom and had nowhere to go. Several of the worst shows I've mentioned could just go through some tweaking and it could have been amazing.

'The Fashion Show' Winner Is Anna McCraney

Anna McCraneyAfter a nationwide vote, America named Anna McCraney the winner of Bravo's inaugural 'Fashion Show.'

As the only contestant to avoid the bottom two, Anna won 56 percent of the final vote over Daniella (25 percent) and James Paul (19 percent).

She leaves the competition with $125,000 and a winning collection that will be sold in the retail market.

Bravo launches The Fashion Show... which is kinda, sorta like Project Runway

The Fashion Show trioWhen I heard about Bravo's new reality program, The Fashion Show, a few phrases came to mind: "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" was one. "Don't get mad, get even" was another. Then there was "Anything you can do, I can do better."

Yes, it seems that The Fashion Show is a show that was conceived as a replacement for Project Runway, the Bravo hit series that has run off to Lifetime.
