Caroline Manzo Frustrates 'Good Day NY' by Not Gossiping About Teresa Giudice (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 4th 2011 12:30AM
Caroline Manzo, 'Good Day New York'Caroline Manzo was driving the crew of 'Good Day New York' (Weekdays, 9AM ET on Fox) absolutely crazy with her interview. They were hoping for the same kind of juicy gossip that permeates 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' but she wasn't offering up much.

They even tried to goad her by talking about Teresa Giudice, with whom she had a pretty big falling out during this past season. Manzo admitted the two have a "non-existent" relationship right now, but refused to gossip about Giudice, or her husband in any way.

Caroline Insists Teresa Was Never Her Friend on 'Housewives' Reunion (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 24th 2011 6:45AM
Caroline Manzo, 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'It was another hour of reunion-time fun with most of the cast of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo). We still don't know why Jacqueline Laurita wasn't there, other than that it happened during filming for next season. But we do know that Caroline Manzo is sad about that.

She's not, however, sad about the seeming collapse of her friendship with Teresa Giudice. She's emotional about family, who are there for you no matter what, and she's emotional about whatever went down with Jacqueline, but now she's decided Teresa was never even her friend.

Teresa Stands by Claim That Melissa's a Gold Digger on 'Real Housewives' Reunion (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 17th 2011 7:30AM
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'The women usually try to pretend that they've made at least a temporary peace with one another on these shows, but that wasn't the case on this reunion episode of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo). And just a couple of weeks ago, it seemed like they were all going to get along on the show, much less after.

But it all fell apart, and now Teresa is clearly public enemy number one. As she said at one point, "This is so funny to me. It's like three to one."

She almost seemed to be enjoying the other women coming after her, and she certainly wasted no time in lashing out at them. When Andy Cohen brought up that Teresa had called her sister-in-law Melissa a gold digger, Teresa stuck by her assessment.

'The Real Housewives of NJ' Preview 'Shocking Revelations' to Come at Reunion (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Oct 12th 2011 4:30PM
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' ... well, most of them, stopped by 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated on Fox) to preview their upcoming reunion special, which was apparently filled with revelations, fireworks and no-shows.

"This reunion is very revealing, and so many of you are going to be shocked at the revelations that are going to be exposed," Carolina Manzo said. The clip showed a moment at the reunion where Andy Cohen talked about possible jail-time that Joe Giudice could be facing.

Caroline Manzo Unamused by Cracks About Her in Teresa's Cookbook on 'Housewives' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 10th 2011 6:30AM
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' season finaleIf you were a little weirded out by everyone seeming to get along last week on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo), you needn't have worried. There was no way a sense of peace and calm could last long. All it needed was a bombshell to kick things off.

That bombshell came in the form of Teresa Giudice's new cookbook 'Fabulicious.' Particularly, in the introduction where she took some seeming light-hearted potshots at her friends and co-stars. Well, Caroline Manzo and her family certainly weren't amused.

Melissa Performs Her Single on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 3rd 2011 5:45AM
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'After returning from their trip to the Dominican Republic, the cast of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo) are strangely happy and getting along. Even the Joes and their wives, Teresa and Melissa, are all acting almost like one big, happy family.

At the launch party for the Manzo's BLK Water, Melissa Gorga was invited to perform her new single 'On Display,' and she put on a very professional-looking and entertaining show. We'll assume she sounded great, though we didn't get the live audio.

Nevertheless, Joe Giudice took some time afterward to toast her for being able to get up there and do something that not a lot of people could do, himself included. It was a genuine moment and had Teresa hoping this could be a fresh start for the family.

Joe Tries to Stop Kathy and Teresa Fighting on 'Real Housewives NJ' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 19th 2011 5:30AM
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'Some families let the past stay in the past so they can move on. Fortunately for Bravo, that's not the case for 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo). Teresa's still fuming over an incident that happened with Kathy, but now they don't even have their stories straight.

Teresa's version has Kathy accusing her of leaving her child unattended -- and she was very specific on using that word over and over again -- at her brother's Christening. Kathy's version had her wanting to get her own kids out of a dangerous situation.

Joe's version, on the other hand, was much more succinct. "All right, shut up!" he said. "Shut up and end it."

'Real Housewives': Gia's Sad Song About Teresa Not Getting Along With Joe (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 12th 2011 5:55AM
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'The feud between Teresa Guidice, her husband Joe and her brother Joe has been a long-running theme on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo). We're sure the network loves the drama it brings, but it's been more than enough for Teresa's daughter, Gia.

She wrote a song about it, like to hear it, here it go!

She sang, through tears, of her mother and uncle, "It is just too much. Waking up in the morning. Going to school worrying and worrying. It is just too much."

It may not have a Grammy in its future, but Gia's song was about far more than making music. It was about trying to show her mother how much this ridiculous family feud is affecting the children! And isn't that what we're supposed to be worried about?

Will the Joes Ever Get Along on 'Real Housewives of New Jersey'? (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 29th 2011 9:55AM
Joe Gorga, 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'The answer to the above question is an emphatic "NO!" if Joe Guidice is going to have anything to say about it, and apparently he does. On 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo), Teresa reached out to her brother, Joe Gorga, and invited him to a book signing. Gorga had never been to one, so he was very touched to be invited.

But Joe Guidice wasn't going to let that happen smoothly, even if he had no intention of going himself. He started sending nasty texts to Joe Gorga, threatening to break his jaw if he showed up at the signing.

Jacqueline Finally Throws Ashley Out on 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 22nd 2011 11:00AM
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'Jacqueline Laurita found herself in an impossible situation as a parent on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo). She had to basically admit that she'd done all she could for her daughter, Ashley, which essentially amounted to a failure, and cast her out to fly or fall on her own.

At twenty years old, Ashley is more than old enough to be on her own, and after the way she consistently treats both her mother and stepfather, it's astonishing that she hasn't been thrown out already. She laughs at them and/or texts on the phone when they're trying to talk to her. Now, most of us would have thrown the phone across the room in those instances, but they're far more passive with her.

Jacqueline's Daughter Ashley Makes Her Cry on 'The Real Housewives of NJ' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 15th 2011 5:50AM
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'Nobody's going to come out and say that the women of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo) are the easiest women to deal with. And none of them are perfect as parents or people. But Ashley certainly doesn't need to be quite so mean to her mother Jacqueline.

She is, however, consistently rude to every one of her parents, acting like the worst kind of spoiled rich kid you could ever imagine. Now, we'll concede that staging an intervention to talk to her about her horrible behavior at a fancy public restaurant isn't the best idea. That said, the cameras might not have helped either.

Suddenly, Ashley has to also be concerned about what the people in the restaurant are thinking and what the viewers at home will think when they watch the footage. It's hard to have a real conversation and get her to let down her defensive walls when she feels like she has to "perform" for the audiences.

Teresa Explains Her Feud With Kathy on 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' (VIDEO)

by Catherine Lawson, posted Aug 8th 2011 7:10AM
Teresa GiudiceTeresa Giudice sure can nurse a grudge. On this week's episode of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo) we found out what lies at the bottom of her grudge against her cousin Kathy.

(Remember the Battle of the Brownstone back in May after Kathy criticized Teresa's parenting skills?)

Teresa sat down with Melissa to explain the origins of the bad feeling between the two. Turns out that Kathy did something unforgivable and unfamilial: "I was her only cousin on her mother's side here, in America, and she didn't ask me to be in her wedding."

Heinous. So, Teresa got her revenge by not asking Kathy to be in her wedding. And anyway, as Teresa said, she'd already gotten tired of hanging out with Kathy's husband Richie.

Albie Is Smitten and Shy Around Alexa Ray Joel on 'Real Housewives NJ' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 1st 2011 6:15AM
Alexa Ray Joel, 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'If all you women out there are wondering why guys can come across as weird or creepy when meeting you, it's because you hold all the power in those moments, and it can be incredibly intimidating. Take Caroline's son Albie, for example, from 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Sun., 10PM ET on Bravo).

He's a good-looking guy from a successful family, so what should he fear from Billie Joel's daughter, Alexa Ray Joel? It's not that he's starstruck by her, but that "she's a pretty good-looking girl."

As such, he wants to take the next step and ask her out. But that's making himself vulnerable, as she can respond in whatever way she wants to. He's the one who has to make a move. And because he's so caught up in that, it cripples his ability to talk socially, or apparently say things that don't come across horribly.

Kim G. Gets Thrown Out of the Gorgas' Christmas Party on 'Real Housewives of NJ' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jul 25th 2011 10:10AM
'The Real Housewives of New Jersey'Apparently it's so much fun kicking people out of the Gorgas' Christmas Party that the fine folks at 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' (Thu., 10PM ET on Bravo) have split it across two episodes. Last week, we got the impromptu departure of Monica Chacon.

This week, though, things got dramatic when Kim G. was abruptly asked to leave. She must have anticipated it, because she brought her own -- ultimately ineffective -- bodyguard. Does that mean Caroline was right to say she only went there to hurt people and stir the pot?

Of course it does!
