Bristol Palin to Appear on 'The Secret Life of an American Teenager'
by Brad Trechak, posted Feb 23rd 2010 6:00PM
The eldest daughter of former Alaskan Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be appearing on an episode of 'The Secret Life of an American Teenager.' She'll be playing herself, a role she is likely familiar with after all this time. The show itself centers around a teen pregnancy, which is a subject that Bristol is quite familiar with. It's a pretty gutsy move on the part of Ms. Palin considering the anti-Hollywood rhetoric that Sarah has espoused again and again. In fact, this appearance is likely a response to that 'Family Guy' controversy with her mother, possibly to lend support to more "family friendly" programming found on channels like Disney and ABC Family.
The whole situation reeks of a public service announcement, albeit a fairly involved one. Of course, one could also argue that 'The Secret Life of an American Teenager' is an after-school special premise that was turned into a series.

'Kyle XY'(9PM, ABC Family) series finale
He has no belly button, and after tonight, poor Kyle will have no primetime home, either.
Yep, it's the end of the line for the teenage superhero, as the third season finale also serves as the show's series ender. At least fans will get an action-packed send-off, though, as Kyle finds out what Cassidy and Latnok have planned for the future of Adam Baylin's experiment – they plan to go into overdrive on making lots and lots of Kyle and Jessi-like super kiddies.
Kyle, understandably, is against the pod-hatching plot, and enlists the Tragers and pals Declan and Amanda to help him. Now if they can only find out where the secret Latnok pod factory is located ...

Jason Priestly says he "did his time" on 90210
by Kona Gallagher, posted Jul 14th 2008 3:03PM

Don't expect to see Brandon Walsh hanging out with the rest of the gang at The Peach Pit when the new 90210 debuts this fall. Jason Priestly, who played Brandon throughout 90210's original incarnation has revealed that he has in fact been approached by CW execs about reprising his role--but that he has turned them down.Priestley, who is currently promoting a one episode directing stint on The Secret Life of the American Teenager, seems to be more interested in taking a seat behind the camera than donning his acid-washed jeans in front of it. While Walsh appeared in nearly 250 episodes of the teen soap, he also directed 18 of them. Despite turning down the CW's original offer, he seems quite interested in taking a seat on the director's chair.
