When we ordinary citizens have wardrobe malfunctions, the best we can hope for is that a friend has a safety pin in her purse. Here's what happens among the celebrity elite:

At the 'Vanity Fair' Oscars after-party, Larry David gave Isla Fisher a "firm, hard hug" that snapped her dress strap. "I was exposed," she told Jimmy Fallon on 'Late Night' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC).

"But only at the 'Vanity Fair' party, the crowds parted and there appeared my fashion angel in the name of Tom Ford -- who had on him a cufflink, a wire coat hanger and a candlestick."

"He's like a fashion 'MacGyver'!" exclaimed the host. Evidently so. "He MacGyvered my strap back on, and I had a great night!" Fisher said. And who says the rich and famous are just like us?

Colin Firth is getting Oscar buzz for his role in Tom Ford's first directorial effort The Single Man, but there's a TV actor who makes a voice cameo in the movie and he goes completely uncredited. He plays the guy who phones and delivers some bad news to Firth's character (obviously this might be a spoiler if you haven't seen the movie). Answer after the jump.
