(10PM, Bravo) 2nd season finale
With the lameness of the final Bravo season of 'Project Runway' still fresh in our minds (Leanne's designs were cool, but we would have thrown something at the TV if we'd had to hear her call her clothing 'or-ghanic' one more time), here's hoping the second 'Top Design' finale won't disappoint.

It's come down to Nathan, Preston and Ondine, as the three interior decorators will have to spruce up an entire home, from curtains to floor treatments, for their shot at the $100,000 grand prize.

All three have their fans, though the talented Nathan has been a favorite from the beginning. Then again, he did have the low score in part one of the finale last week ...

'Project Runway' and 'Top Design'

The 'Project Runway' competition is down to six, and tonight's challenge should prove especially tricky for the more eccentric designers: The contestants have to design a professional look for college students who'll be transitioning into the workplace.

Designer Cynthia Rowley is the guest judge, as Suede, Korto and the gang try to inject a little style and elegance into the wardrobes of women used to wearing velour pants with the word 'Juicy' emblazoned across their posteriors.

Meanwhile, the 'Top Design' crew must create window designs inspired by the frocks of former 'Runway' contestants like Sweet P and Santino. Oh, those Bravo types and their channel synergy.

'Sons of Anarchy'
(10PM, FX) series premiere
'Sons' has been called the "West Coast 'Sopranos,'" as the show revolves around a Northern California motorcycle gang that runs an illegal weapons ring and rules its small town with mob-like intimidation.

'Undeclared' star Charlie Hunnam is Jax, the thirtysomething poised to run the gang eventually, but only if he can "toughen up" to the standards of current leader Clay (Ron Perlman), the second husband of Jax's mom Gemma (Katey Sagal).

Jax doesn't have the same ruthless streak Clay and Gemma do, and he's got an additional cross to bear: Druggie ex-wife Wendy (Drea de Matteo), whose addictions have led to birth defects for Jax's newborn son.

I know what you are all thinking. Finally, it's Wednesday night and there is a new... Friday Night Lights! Ok, so only a few of you are thinking that and the majority of you are anxiously awaiting more Idol, the conclusion of Dawson's Criminal Minds adventure, or the return of Lost.

Just in case you need something to pass the time while you wait for your television program of choice, you might want to head on over to iTunes and grab the pilot for Friday Night Lights. Like a drug dealer who has gone straight and started slinging high school drama instead of rocks, the first one is free. If you haven't had a chance to give the Taylor's and the rest of Dillon, Texas a look, I urge you to give it a try. It really is a great show.

Bravo seems to have found something of a niche with the reality programming. Top Chef has been well received, and Project Runway was nominated for an Emmy. With those successes under their belt they are ready to go it again with Top Design. The show will task twelve competitors with creating the best interior design each week. At the end of the ten episode run the winner will receive money to start their own design firm and a spot in a New York design showcase.

Todd Oldham will host the show. He got his start as a fashion designer and you may remember him from Todd Time on MTV's House of Style. Since then he has moved into other design arenas including his own line of furniture, Todd Oldham by La-Z-Boy. He also designed The Hotel in South Beach. Oldham will be joined on the show by a panel of judges including interior designers Jonathan Adler and Kelly Wearstler, as well as editor in chief of Elle Decor Margaret Russell.
