It's viral video day on 'The Tyra Show' (weekdays, syndicated). In this episode, Tyra Banks discusses children who have become YouTube superstars. And her very special guest is... a fist-pumping baby. Yes, you heard that correctly. A fist-pumping baby.Watch the video after the jump.
Tyra Banks, Hairstylist (VIDEO)

Would you trust Tyra Banks to cut your hair? Would you let her do it if you were a guest on her show? That's the question facing the guests on the most recent episode of 'The Tyra Show' (weekdays, syndicated). Banks did a series of "girl power" makeovers, which involved cutting one guest's hair fairly radically. "So I'm going to cut you at a jagged angle," she said. "... Okay?" Um, okay.Watch the video after the jump.
10 TV Talk Shows We Wish Hadn't Bit the Dust
by Leonard Jacobs, posted Jan 23rd 2010 10:00AM
And another one bites the dust.Tyra Banks had long been contemplating ways to forge an Oprah-style media empire well before the debut of her eponymous talk show in 2005. Setting aside her guest shots on 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' in the 1990s, Banks decided to establish her TV-Q as a host by successfully launching 'America's Next Top Model' in 2003. That gave her the clout to fashion 'The Tyra Banks Show' -- which she segued to just three months after leaving the runway -- into something that was part tabloid, part tasteful.
Now that Banks has announced she's ending her talk show this season -- she'll be focusing on her production company, Bankable Studios, among other projects -- we formally add 'The Tyra Banks Show' to the pantheon of great talk shows we wish hadn't bit the dust.
Apparently, Tyra's show has just been one giant bowl of crazy
by Danny Gallagher, posted Jan 5th 2010 9:00AM
I haven't been a regular watcher of Tyra Banks' syndicated gab-fest for obvious reasons (I have male genitalia and eyes).
But judging by this list of the show's most clinically insane moments in the wake of its pending cancellation, I'm really really glad I wasn't, especially if my gene pool decided to turn my outie into an innie.
Here's my favorite of the bunch: Tyra going into a crazy spiral over Vasoline ... or judging from her reaction and my occasional run-in with the neighborhood junkie, it could have more to do with mescaline.

Tyra Banks's Craziest Moments
by Scott Harris, posted Dec 28th 2009 3:50PM
As the decade winds to a close, it's only natural to look back at the events that have shaped and informed our lives over the last 10 years in order to take stock of how our world has changed. And in retrospect, one trend above all others stands out this century: Tyra Banks is crazy. Whether she's crazy good or crazy bad, of course, is entirely in the eye of the beholder, but over the course of her five years at the helm of 'The Tyra Show,' perhaps no other daytime talk host gave us as many buzzed-about moments, from the worthy to the cringe-worthy.
Sadly for everyone, though, Banks announced earlier today that 'The Tyra Show' will be ending this spring at the conclusion of its fifth season. This won't mean the end of Tyra herself, of course; she's still going to be delivering shows such as 'America's Next Top Model' and 'True Beauty,' stating on her website that "There's a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart." She also told PEOPLE that she plans to focus on film projects (!!).
But while that internal barbecue will no doubt continue to serve up plenty more in the future, we have to admit we're going to miss the unpredictable hour of weirdness that 'The Tyra Show' has brought to our afternoons for the past half decade. So with that in mind, and to celebrate the contributions Tyra has made to the world of daytime television, we now present to your our list of the craziest moments ever on the 'The Tyra Show.'
Mike Epps Answers All Your Questions About Black People on 'The Tyra Show' (VIDEO)
by Elizabeth Chan, posted Dec 1st 2009 2:26PM
Who decided that Mike Epps would be the ombudsman for black people all across America? That would be Tyra Banks, the ombudsman ... for anything she wants to talk about. On 'The Tyra Show,' Epps helpfully answers a myriad questions related to black stereotypes, including "Why do black men always have pit bulls and Rottweilers?" or "What is it that black women do at the salon all day long?"
