NBC ended its coverage of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics with a Gold medal-winning performance.

According to EW.com, the NBC Universal channels that participated in its Olympics coverage received a combined total of 190 million viewers, enough to pull NBC out of fourth place for the season.

"The Olympics have yet again proved the power of the big events on network television," said NBC executive Dick Ebersol, according to the report.
