Vicki Wants Out of the 'Real Housewives' Reunion Show (VIDEO)
by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 12th 2010 1:34AM
Vicki, Vicki, Vicki. First of all, where did you get that hideous dress? Seriously, did you play like Scarlett O'Hara and rip a curtain off a window? And if you don't want to fight on national TV, why on earth would you sign on for a show like 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thu., 9PM ET on Bravo)? That's what you guys do – fight, make up, fight, make up. That's really about all there is to it.
So either get with the program, or move on to a show like 'The Marriage Ref.' Yeah, you'd probably fit right in over there.

Vicki Comforts Tamra on 'Real Housewives of Orange County' (VIDEO)

Even though they can be shallow, petty and whiny, it's still disheartening any time a divorce enters into the equation on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thu., 10PM ET on Bravo).Tamra thinks that's just where she's headed with Simon, and turns to Vicki for guidance. And Vicki has some darn good advice.
"You've gotta stop him from controlling you," she told the distraught housewife. "You are gonna control your own destiny. You can't let anybody else do it. At the very end of the night when you put your head on the pillow, it's your life." You can't argue with that.
On the other hand, is Vicki really one to be giving marriage advice?

Simon Compares Vicki to Hitler on 'Real Housewives' (VIDEO)
by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 26th 2010 1:02AM
It's one thing to fight with your wife's friend, but quite another to compare her to Hitler. "Everyone has a good side," Simon says to Tamra on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' (Thu., 10PM ET on Bravo). "Hitler had a good side. He was very nice to Eva Braun ... he had some dogs and he took care of the dogs, but he was evil anti-Christ."
You know ... like Vicki. We especially love the editing on this scene. When Tamra cranks her head to look at Simon, it's like that "dramatic hamster" video on YouTube.

Jeana says goodbye to Real Housewives of Orange County
by Allison Waldman, posted Nov 23rd 2009 9:03AM
I haven't been as interested in The Real Housewives of Orange County this season, and now I'm about to check out permanently. My favorite wife has left the show. Jeana Keough said an on screen "adios" to the Real Housewives of Orange County. She's not actually moving, but she's off the show by choice.Jeana Keough has always impressed me as the smartest, most normal and down-to-earth housewife of the bunch. She had a completely insane marriage to Matt Keough, an ex-Major League Baseball pitcher for the Oakland A's, but she worked to keep it together. Her kids were a handful.
They were all grown up and in high school or post-high school life, but Jeana was supportive and interested and tried to be a positive role model. In her finale, she was able to show her kids pursuing their lives and bringing her pride. I think Jeana's "pal" Vicki Gunvalson wishes her children were as loving to her as Jeana's are to her.
