Vienna Girardi: Don't Believe the Drunk Interviews on 'Bachelor Pad' (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Aug 23rd 2011 4:45PM
Vienna Girardi talks about drinking on 'Bachelor Pad' on 'Access Hollywood Live'Take the feuds on 'Bachelor Pad' with a grain of salt, or, more appropriately, a lime and a salt-shaker. It's just the booze talking, according to Vienna Girardi. Girardi appeared on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC) to talk about this week's episode, in which Erica Rose said some nasty things about her.

Girardi said she and Erica are now friends, but that only happened after this week's episode was taped. "She was just in Vegas this week with me this weekend where I lost my voice," said Girardi. "But I can say this -- alcohol. I'm blaming the Patron and the Jager on all the mean things that people say."

by Laura Prudom, posted Aug 9th 2011 12:00AM
Bachelor Pad contestantsSummer is here! For some, that means barbecues, pool parties and beach bonfires; for the alumni of ABC's 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' franchises, it means 'Bachelor Pad' -- possibly the trashiest, tawdriest trainwreck of a reality competition show since 'Temptation Island,' and we just can't resist it! (Believe us, we've tried.)

If you thought last year's contest was crazy, you ain't seen nothing yet. Wedging feuding exes Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi back into one house seemed juicy enough, but add in the likes of Kasey "Guard and Protect Your Heart" Kahl, Gia Allemand, Justin "Rated R" Rego and crazy-eyes Michelle Money, and you've got the most combustible group of contestants ever to grace our screens.

Join us after the jump for our Top 5 most awkward moments from the season premiere. Can you guess how many involve Jake and Vienna?

Jake Pavelka to Look for Love Once More on ABC's 'Bachelor Pad'

by Jean Bentley, posted Jun 9th 2011 3:35PM
Jake PavelkaMaybe the third time will be the charm for Jake Pavelka.

The airline pilot has signed on as a contestant on ABC's 'Bachelor Pad,' the vaguely incestuous dating show comprised solely of 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' castoffs that will air its second season later this summer.

Entertainment Weekly reports that filming has begun on 'Bachelor Pad,' and Pavelka was spotted out on a TV date with 'Bachelor' Season 15 contestant Jackie Gordon.

This will be Pavelka's third time competing on an ABC dating show. He wasn't right for Jillian Harris on the fifth season of 'The Bachelorette,' but he got another shot at televised love when he became the fourteenth 'Bachelor.' Unfortunately, he didn't find the one after all and ended his engagement with Vienna Girardi a year ago.

by Oliver Miller, posted Aug 23rd 2010 12:54AM
Former 'Bachelor' Jake Pavelka Guest Stars on 'Drop Dead Diva'Jake Pavelka appeared on the latest episode of 'Drop Dead Diva' (Sun., 9PM ET on Lifetime). The former 'Bachelor' contestant really stretched his acting range -- by playing a former contestant on a reality dating show. Yay! Way to go, Jake!

Mr. Pavelka played a mean dating show dude who was being sued for "intentionally inflicting emotional harm" upon a female contestant. ... Of course, in real life, some might argue that Jake has also done the same thing.

'Lopez Tonight': Vienna Girardi Answers Twitter Questions on 'Bachelor' Ex Jake Pavelka (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Aug 13th 2010 5:25AM
Vienna Girardi Answers Jake Pavelka Questions on 'Lopez Tonight'Vienna Girardi, ex-fiancée of 'Bachelor' Jake Pavelka, loves to Tweet, so her interview on 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 11PM ET on TBS) consisted (mostly) of answering questions sent to her Twitter account.

One of them: "Were you and Jake really in love?" Girardi replied, "Once you go through so many months with a person in that kind of environment, you really do feel like you're in love with them. But when once everything dies down ... We really got to know who each other were. And that's when you realize, this isn't the man I'm going to marry."

George Lopez asked if she was seeing "someone special," and Girardi responded with a coy, "Perhaps." Lopez then turned into some sort of relationships counselor, telling her he hoped she would find "somebody that really cared about you, and that could show you the affection and love you ... and to help you heal from that devil Jake."

'The Bachelorette' Recap - Love: It's No Fairytale

by Laura Prudom, posted Jul 6th 2010 9:27AM
Welcome back, scandal fans -- last night's episode of 'The Bachelorette' had more fireworks than a 4th of July weekend, but practically none of it was thanks to Ali and her five long-suffering suitors.

You just know that the show's producers were thanking all their heathen Reality TV deities that Jake and Vienna took a very public nosedive when they did, otherwise this episode would've been a total snooze.

But before we get to the train-wreck that was Jake and Vienna's break-up interview, let's jump in to what we're all allegedly here for, Ali's continuing search for love ...

'The Bachelor's' Jake and Vienna Fight About Their Break-Up (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Jul 6th 2010 2:05AM
'The Bachelor's' Jake and Vienna Fight About Their Break-UpWell, if you haven't heard it yet, then you'll hear it here. Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi have broken up. Vienna first spilled the beans to 'Star Magazine,' giving her reasons for leaving the relationship. Among these reasons: the fact that she and Jake hadn't had sex in months. But if you thought this story would end there -- then you would be wrong.

Tonight, on a special episode of 'The Bachelorette' (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC), Vienna and Jake showed up to discuss their split -- and they fought, and fought, and fought some more.

[Spoiler alert.]

The pair discussed the break-up with host Chris Harrison, but Jake repeatedly grew angry with Vienna, and she ended up fleeing the interview in tears. The former couple started by bickering about who had dumped the other person first. Then, Jake seemed to weirdly confirm that he had refused to have sex with his fiancée. Or, at the very least, he said there was no "intimacy" in their relationship.

Throughout the interview, Jake continually got annoyed at Vienna for "interrupting" him. He kept trying to silence her, and finished by yelling at his ex. At this point, Vienna couldn't take it anymore, and began crying. She finally jumped off the couch, saying this to Jake: "You are the meanest person I've ever met in my life. ... I'm over it."

It's impossible to know the truth about this relationship just based on this interview. But if we're scoring this one at home, then we're going to cautiously side with Vienna. Jake seemed odd, and did seem "mean." Especially when he kept coldly addressing the camera while a woman sat weeping next to him.

But what do you guys think? Are you on Team Jake, or Team Vienna?

Jake vs. Vienna: Details of the Latest 'Bachelor' Break-Up

by Kelly Woo, posted Jul 5th 2010 10:30PM
Jake and ViennaHe said, she said ... and then he said some more, she said some more.

Recently split 'Bachelor' couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi appeared in a special interview on last night's 'Bachelorette' episode to tell their sides of the break-up -- which has made headlines in the tabloids.

Girardi accused her former fiance of "emotional abuse," while the 32-year-old pilot retorted that their relationship lacked intimacy because she continually undermined and "emasculated" him.

"There's no respect for me," he said.

"He treated me like a child," she said.

A grave host Chris Harrison asked Girardi why she sold her story to the tabloids, but the 23-year-old marketing rep replied that Pavelka was a "fame whore" who would've done the same thing first.

'Bachelor' Break-Up: Jake and Vienna Call It Quits

by Laura Prudom, posted Jun 23rd 2010 10:40AM
Jake Pavelka and Vienna GirardiUnless you suffered a tragic all-day power outage in the past 24 hours and were cruelly separated from the Internet, you've probably already heard that hunky Texan pilot Jake Pavelka (last season's 'Bachelor') and his bride-to-be Vienna Girardi have officially broken off their engagement, adding them to the long list of 'Bachelor' and 'Bachelorette' couples who couldn't go the distance.

Speculation is still running rampant amongst bloggers and tabloids regarding the true cause of the split; TMZ can't quite decide whether Jake dropped Vienna over suspicions that the Floridian daddy's girl was stepping out on him with 'Greek' star Gregory Michael, or if Vienna gave up on Jake for being a "fame whore" -- ouch. And I thought everyone who appeared on a reality dating show just wanted to live quiet, drama free lives ...

But now, our distinguished sister site, PopEater, has scoop from Star Magazine that claims Vienna wasn't just tired of Jake's showboating, she was tired of the lack of action in the bedroom too!

How Much 'Bachelor' Is Too Much 'Bachelor'?

by Kim Potts, posted Mar 8th 2010 4:00PM
The recent season finale of 'The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love' drew 15 million viewers, and helped make the season the show's most watched since 2003. Obviously, despite the fact that many fans are still scratching their heads over 'Bachelor' Jake Pavelka's choice of Vienna Girardi to receive his final rose (not to mention an engagement ring), and that the show has so far resulted in just one marriage, 'The Bachelor' is getting much love these days.

But with spin-offs, televised weddings, 'Bachelor' stars on other reality series and now, even a 'Bachelor' video game on the way, are we in the midst of 'Bachelor' overkill?

New 'Bachelor' couple Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi were on Thursday's 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated) and DeGeneres had them play a version of 'The Newlywed Game,' in which a couple has to answer questions to determine how much they know about each other. Unfortunately for the pair, it turns out that they don't know a heck of a lot about each other's likes and dislikes (well, at least not in this round). Is this a bad omen?

Tenley Molzahn Would Love to Beat Jake Pavelka on 'Dancing With the Stars' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Mar 3rd 2010 11:12PM
Tenley Molzahn, Ellen DeGeneresWow, Tenley Molzahn has a great attitude about Jake Pavelka's decision on 'The Bachelor.' You know the one we're talking about – when he chose Vienna Girardi over Molzahn. Outraged fans took to the Internet to rake Pavelka over the cyber-coals for his decision.

But Molzahn? She's ok with it. "I think it was two completely different relationships, and he just had to pick which one he wanted to live with for the rest of his life," she said on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

But Ellen DeGeneres brings up a good idea. Since Pavelka's going on 'Dancing With the Stars,' maybe Molzahn should consider it, too. She's a dancer, after all. "The most brilliant idea would be to be his competition," she told DeGeneres.

Crush him like a rock, Tenley! We'd love to see that!

'The Bachelor' Finale and 'After the Final Rose' Recap

by Kim Potts, posted Mar 1st 2010 10:00PM
Oh, Jake. Jake, Jake, Jake. In a choice that came down to the so-called good girl vs. the girl who'd been called everything but good, 'The Bachelor' Jake Pavelka chose the bad girl, by proposing to blonde vixen Vienna Girardi and sending good girl Tenley Molzahn packing.

Yep, he chose Vienna, the woman hated by many other bachelorettes; the woman who said she was in love for the first time (despite being married once and engaged to another man); the woman who both viewers and tabloid magazines had trashed since Jake had chosen her as a finalist.
