by Catherine Lawson, posted Dec 2nd 2011 7:20AM
50 Cent and Pauly DAs Vinny Guadagnino deals with the fallout from his recent foray into the world of rap, the AP reports that his fellow 'Jersey Shore' guido, Pauly D (yes, the one with that hair) has hooked up with rapper 50 Cent.

The reality star and DJ said months ago that the pair were working together, and now he has officially signed to 50 Cent's dance and pop music label, G-Note.

Calling Pauly D smart and creative, 50 Cent said he's a "great addition to G-Note and [the] G-Unit family."

'Guy Code' Preview: Is Buying a Bottle Baller or Boneheaded? (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Nov 15th 2011 2:00PM
Lately, an entire cottage industry has sprung up to teach men how to be as dudely as possible. Somewhere along the line, modern masculinity was declared to be in shambles, and thus were born dozens of guidebooks and classes teaching the basic principles of coolness.

By now, many men have chosen to tune out the guidance being offered by everyone from self-proclaimed "pick-up artists" to Axe Body Spray, but it's worth tossing your skepticism aside to welcome a new show called 'Guy Code' (premieres Tues., Nov. 15 at 11PM ET on MTV2). This genuinely funny show offers dude-vice on topics like manscaping, sexting, talking to the cops and partying at the club ... you know, the fundamental issues of our time. Using animated scenes and commentary from comedians, shot-girls and Vinnie from 'Jersey Shore,' 'Guy Code' avoids preaching and goes for laughs rather than promising to change your life.

Vinny From 'Jersey Shore' Is a Bad Boy in Sin City on '90210' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Nov 9th 2011 5:30AM
Vinny Guadagnino, '90210'Vinny Guadagnino was a continent away from 'Jersey Shore,' when he guest-starred as a representative of all the sin that Sin City has to offer on '90210' (Tue., 8PM ET on The CW). While he manages to lure Liam into a very intense game of poker. In fact, Liam quickly loses nearly all of his money.

But then he takes a big gamble by going all in on one hand. Vinny backs down and we never even get to see if Liam was bluffing or not, but the bottom line was that he won back the money he'd lost and was smart enough to walk away before he was down again.

Vinny From 'Jersey Shore' Wants to Occupy Wall Street (Seriously)

by Alex Moaba, posted Oct 20th 2011 10:00AM
Vinny Guadagnino has the distinction of being both the youngest 'Jersey Shore' cast member and quite possibly the wisest. He's seen a lot in his time on the MTV reality show ... and that may be the understatement of the century.

After a season in Italy in which he had sex with Snooki, visited his ancestral homeland in Sicily and, for the most part, managed to steer clear of the Situation's bizarre antics, Vinny's now found himself back in the States trying to expand his reality fame into an acting career, all while dealing with the strange, relentless celebrity that swirls around the show.

AOL TV spoke with Vinny about the enduring appeal (so far, anyway) of the 'Jersey Shore' phenomenon, and he offered his thoughts on why America has yet to grow tired of the over-tanned gang. He also admits that they were treated like "gods" by nearly everyone they encountered upon arriving back in Seaside to shoot Season 5 ... except for New Jersey's governor Chris Christie.

Our discussion turned political from there, as Vinny revealed his support for the Occupy Wall Street protests and his disgust with Republicans who will stop at nothing to bring down President Obama. Check out more after the jump ...

by Nick Zaino, posted Aug 16th 2011 2:15PM
Greg Kelly and Rosanna Scotto fist pumping with Vinny Guadagnino of 'Jersey Shore' on 'Good Day New York'Vinny Guadagnino makes the fist pump look easy on 'Jersey Shore,' perhaps deceptively so. Guadagnino stopped by 'Good Day New York' (weekdays, 9AM ET on Fox) to talk about how he became a 'Jersey Shore' star, and to teach anchors Rosanna Scotto and Greg Kelly his signature dance move.

Guadagnino, who's actually a Staten Island native, decided to pass up law school to enjoy the show's success. "I want the degree, yes," he said, "but right now, I think I'm doing well." Scotto asked if Guadagnino was aware of his fifteen minutes of fame fading. "My fifteen minutes started an hour ago," he said. "This was a phenomenon and it was more than I think fifteen minutes. It took off to five seasons."

Vinny GuadagninoIt's been reported that Vinny Guadagnino has quit the 'Jersey Shore' house and TV show for good.

According to TMZ, sources connected to the MTV reality show said Guadagnino left the house late Friday (July 1) night after getting into an argument with an unnamed cast member.

He was seen taking off in a cab with suitcases in hand in the middle of the night

Guadagnino and the rest of the cast moved into the 'Jersey Shore' house at Seaside Heights, New Jersey, last week to begin the shoot of the fifth season of the popular show. This was just a week after they all came back from Italy, where the cast shot the fourth season of the show.

Guadagnino threatened to leave the show a few days into filming, after he complained of "being homesick" and feeling "burned out" and even left the house and stayed overnight at a hotel last Wednesday.

Hey, Reality Stars: Keep Your Day Jobs

by PopEater Staff, posted Apr 3rd 2011 9:00AM
Reality Stars
While reality shows have made superstars out of scores of regular people, those aspiring to loftier heights may want to reconsider it as a route to fame. After all, has there been a single reality star who has come close to being the next Meryl Streep, Al Pacino or Britney Spears? We think not.

Pursuing a legitimate career in entertainment takes dedication, patience and study with experts. Not everyone is talented enough to make it work, even after years of preparation, and just being a well-known reality star doesn't entitle you to a career as a singer or actor.

Vinny Goes from 'Jersey Shore' to 'The Hard Times of RJ Berger' With Guest Spot (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 29th 2011 4:37AM
Vinny Guadagnino of 'Jersey Shore' - 'The Hard Times of RJ Berger'Perhaps hoping to inject a bit of juice into the ratings of 'The Hard Times of RJ Berger' (Mon., 10PM ET on MTV), the network pulled in a guest star from a sister series. While 'RJ' did respectable enough for the network to give it a second season, it hasn't exactly been exactly been setting the ratings world on fire. Unlike 'Jersey Shore' ...

With 'Jersey Shore' wrapped for now, fans of its cast may have just gravitated toward this show to see Vinny Guadagnino perfect his acting chops as RJ's cousin Vinny. See, no stretch on the name. And his character's persona?

Let's just say he had RJ and the cast looking like the cast of his show by the end of the episode ... and not necessarily to the improvement of any of them. Lily was particularly disturbing as an even more crazed Snooki.

Vinny of 'Jersey Shore' on Making Leap From Reality TV to 'RJ Berger' Guest Spot (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Mar 21st 2011 1:30PM
According to Vinny Guadagnino of 'Jersey Shore,' making the leap from reality to scripted television in a guest spot on 'The Hard Times of RJ Berger' wasn't tremendously difficult. Guadagnino said he drew from prior experience as an amateur actor, and he even recited a bit of Shakespeare to prove his acting skills on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM ET on NBC).

"I was acting since I'm a little kid in a lot of plays and stuff. So, I'm used to memory," said Guadagnino, adding that he has experience with "musical theater, Shakespeare, a little bit of everything."

Wendy Williams Asks Vinny About Smooshing Snooki on 'Jersey Shore' (VIDEO)

'Jersey Shore's' Vinny Talks Snooki on 'Wendy Williams'Vinny Guadagnino may have brought his mom to 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated) in hopes that her presence (on the front row) would save him from any incriminating and/or embarrassing topics. He's on 'Jersey Shore' -- clearly that ship has sailed. Wendy Williams seemed to agree, asking him pointedly about "smooshing" with fellow cast mate Snooki.

He said they "sort of" smooshed. Williams clarified, "Well, you did enough where she complimented your manhood ... She said it's like putting a watermelon through a pinhole."

Vinny on 'Jersey Shore': The Situation Is Obsessed with Me (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Oct 8th 2010 9:15AM
Mike Is The Situation obsessed with Vinny? Vinny thinks so. Or does he just want his girl Ramona? While Vinny's in the bathroom at a club, The Situation (Mike Sorrentino) "pulls a little of the robbery" (says Pauly D) on Ramona, flirting with her and dissing her man.

"I'm worried," says Vinny on 'Jersey Shore' (Thu., 10PM ET on MTV). "He's always hooking up with the same girls I'm hooking up with -- happened in Jersey. It's happening out here. Mike might have a secret possible obsession with me."

But Ramona rebuffs Mike, and he scowls in a corner, glaring at the dancing couple and throwing his cocktail straw in frustration. He then approaches Snooki for some physical attention. That goes... badly.

Kristen Bell Admits to Being a 'Jersey Shore' "Super-Fan" (VIDEO)

by Oliver Miller, posted Sep 24th 2010 3:20AM
Kristen Bell Admits to Being a 'Jersey Shore' 'Super-Fan'Some people really do like 'Jersey Shore.' (We'll confess to kind of liking it ourselves.) On the other hand, some people really really hate the guido-and-guidette-based show. But even if you are a secret fan of the series, you may be hesitant about admitting this fact in polite society. Liking the 'Shore' is vaguely shameful -- it's considered akin to having bad cultural taste, like admitting that you're a big fan of "Hamburger Helper," fake rhinestones, or Bedazzling.

But luckily, actress Kristen Bell doesn't suffer from any major social inhibitions. And so, on 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), she gleefully confesses to being a 'Jersey Shore' "super-fan." "I'm wildly obsessed with the show," Bell gushes. She's seen every episode, and even admits to watching them twice.

'Jersey Shore': Angelina and Vinny Fight, Hate Each Other, Then Sleep Together (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Sep 10th 2010 9:05AM
Vinny and Angelina Fight and Make Up on 'Jersey Shore'Angelina is angry with Vinny on 'Jersey Shore' (Thu., 10PM ET on MTV). If he hadn't tattled on her, there wouldn't have been a major fight between Sammi and Jenni. The time comes for Angelina and Vinny to trade barbs -- while The Situation and Pauly D watch the action, heads shifting back and forth like they're at a tennis match. He calls her the "Rob Kardashian of Staten Island," and we can't print what she calls him.

But shortly thereafter, the two of them are sucking face in the back of a car, with all the guys cheering them on. Then they hop into bed together. Angelina explains the sudden reversal this way: "Vinny's cute. I'm down for it, I don't care." Really??
