Jennie Garth will be part of the 90210 spin-off
by Isabelle Carreau, posted May 10th 2008 5:05PM
Actress Jennie Garth, who portrayed Kelly Taylor in almost 300 episodes of the hit series Beverly Hills, 90210, will appear on the series' spin-off set to premiere this coming fall season on The CW. The actress, who will appear in a recurring capacity on the spin-off, will reprise the same role that helped put her on the map in the 1990s.It's not unusual to see original cast members make their way in spin-offs. And when said spin-offs have teens attending school, it's a regular occurrence to see the original cast member be part of the school's staff. Kelly Taylor is no exception here. The Hollywood Reporter confirms that Kelly Taylor will become a guidance counselor at West Beverly Hills High. Nothing more is known at this point about the character and if other 90210 original cast members will join her on the show.
Jennie Garth was also part of the cast of What I Like About You and of Season 5 of Dancing with the Stars.
WB coming back on the web
by Allison Waldman, posted Mar 10th 2008 3:24PM
The coffee at Luke's Diner is perking again. Well, sort of. The WB television network is being resurrected it as a new web site. The WB, tentatively called wb.com, will offer free streaming episodes of Gilmore Girls, Everwood and What I Like About You, to start. Those are all shows that were WB-produced during 1995-2006, before the WB merged with UPN to become the CW. It has yet to be determined if other series, including Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, Felicity and Dawson's Creek are slated for the wb.com stream. Like other online streaming venues that allow people to watch for free, the shows will be paid for by ads. In addition to the shows, the site is also going to create new, short (approximately five minute) vignettes targeting the old WB audience, primarily women 12-34.

It's like '90210' all over again!
by Richard Keller, posted Apr 19th 2006 11:03AM
Maybe no one realized this yet. Or, maybe no one really cared.
During the 2005-06 television season, seven alumni of FOX's Beverly Hills, 90210 have appeared or
will appear in a regular series.
Do you doubt me? Do you think it isn't true? Do you think I have way too much time on my hands? Well, the last may be true, but that's not the point.
Click on, dear reader, for the proof that you seek.
