The Word According to Sue Sylvester: 20 Best Quotes
by Sandie Angulo Chen, posted Apr 12th 2010 11:46AM
Cheerios coach Sue Sylvester, played by the always awesome Jane Lynch, is one of the most evilly delicious villains ever to appear on screen. Perpetually clad in an Adidas tracksuit, she's the rare kind of character audiences love to hate. It's a testament to the 'Glee' writing staff that after only 13 episodes, so many of Sue's one-liners have been endlessly repeated -- over watercoolers, on late-night shows and across the blogosphere. Here are 20 Sue quotes that reveal what the kick-ass coach thinks about the world around her.
On Mr. Schuester's character flaws: "You'll be adding revenge to the long list of things you're no good at -- right next to being married, running a high school glee club and finding a hairstyle that doesn't make you look like a lesbian."
On New Horizons' 'Push It' routine: "That was the most offensive thing I've seen in 20 years of teaching, and that includes an elementary-school production of 'Hair.'"

Neil Patrick Harris Will Take on Will on 'Glee'
by Allison Waldman, posted Mar 5th 2010 10:01AM
So, this has all come together. CBS said okay. Joss Whedon came on board. And they named the character Bryan Adam, inspired by the Canadian pop star which must be some kind of tribute to Cobie Smulders' character Robin Scherbatsky on 'How I Met Your Mother.' All that's missing is Harold and Kumar dropping by for a blow.In plain speak, 'Glee' will welcome Neil Patrick Harris for a guest role in an upcoming sweeps episode. The 'How I Met Your Mother' star has been rumored to be doing 'Glee,' but only if CBS let him appear on the competition during the heart of the TV season. It wouldn't be as bad if it was a summer series, but this is sweeps. That means some CBS show will be going up against Neil's 'Glee' episode. Michael Ausiello broke the details of Neil's character on the show. If you don't want to know, don't follow us on the jump. Just wander off and read the next story.
Molly Shannon Latest Star Cast on 'Glee'
by Kona Gallagher, posted Feb 11th 2010 10:38AM
Look, I'm not saying that 'Glee' can do no wrong (the fake pregnancy storyline obviously refutes that), but they sure do a lot of things right. Not only do they have Kristin Chenoweth returning, Idina Menzel joining the cast, but now Molly Shannon is coming to wreak havoc at McKinley High. According to Michael Ausiello, Shannon is playing Brenda Castle, McKinley's newest astronomy teacher/ badminton coach (did your high school have either of these things? Mine sure didn't). Not only that, but she's set to become Sue Sylvester's arch-nemesis, which is brilliant for several reasons.
One, because if Sue Sylvester has another arch nemesis besides Will, then that means more screen time for Jane Lynch, which improves any show by at least 65% (FACT).
