WindPower
Bay Area TV station first to be wind-powered

The future is now. NBC in the Bay Area has become the first U.S. station to run on wind power. It's part of a new campaign called Ecologic."This is not a hollow marketing tactic. We are taking a very frank appraisal of our carbon footprint, and will take our viewers through the process as we make changes and improvements to our building and our lives," said NBC11 President and General Manager Richard Cerussi.
This is only the beginning considering how much the world is going green. Perhaps the next television station can be run by millions of hamsters spinning in wheels. Perhaps they'll be powered by rainbows (which would be quite appropriate for the Bay Area). Or perhaps they'll even be powered by positive thinking.
Considering how much hot air is generated by television executives, I think finding an abundance of wind should be no problem at all for the network.
