Top 5 Clips of the Week: Emmys Beauty Pageant, Sheen Roasts Himself, 'X Factor' Flasher & More (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Sep 24th 2011 1:30PM

This week didn't let up. Between the Emmys and the start of Fall TV, it's all kind of a blur -- but there were some moments that stood out.

The Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Emmy nominees putting on a little beauty pageant warmed our jaded hearts, Charlie Harper's death on 'Two and a Half Men' was cathartic and Sheen's speech at his Comedy Central Roast was actually ... funny.

As the week moved on, we fell hook, line and sinker for the publicity stunt that was the 'X Factor' Flasher. And the final TV scene of 'All My Children,' a bizarre cliffhanger overflowing with soapy goodness, pretty much tied the whole week together.

Check out the clips after the jump to relive the week that was, and vote for your favorite in our weekly poll.

Parents Television Council Files Complaint Over 'X Factor' Flasher

by Alex Moaba, posted Sep 23rd 2011 11:25AM
Paula Abdul wasn't the only person 'The X Factor' flasher made sick during the singing talent show's premiere. Fox's decision to air Geo Godley's bottomless routine, albeit with a blurred X over his privates, has now drawn the ire of the Parents Television Council.

According to TMZ, the advocacy group announced it has filed a formal indecency complaint with the FCC against the show.

"The prolonged, previously videotaped footage of a contestant dancing nude on the 'X Factor' stage represents a conscious decision by the producers – with the approval of the network's broadcast standards department -- to intentionally air this content in front of millions of families during hours when they knew full well that children would be watching," PTC President Tim Winters said in a statement.

'X Factor' Contestant Drops Pants During Performance, Disgusts Judges (VIDEO)

by Alex Moaba, posted Sep 22nd 2011 12:10PM
'The X Factor' (Wed., 8PM ET on FOX) premiere was filled with inspirational stories and impressive vocal performances, but also featured one moment that was considerably less uplifting. A male performer unexpectedly dropped his pants in the middle of a song, disgusting Paula Abdul and everyone else in attendance.

As the flasher, who claimed to be a classically trained musician, sang "Let's get nude, don't be a prude," he pulled down his pants. The judges and live audience shrieked in horror, and Paula Abdul walked to a bathroom backstage, feeling sick to her stomach. Simon Cowell could only sit there stone-faced, looking disgusted, as the man sang, "I'm a stud," repeatedly.

After the performance, L.A. Reid chastised the flasher. "That was offensive, disgusting, distasteful, upsetting ... get him out of the building, please."
