Rather than go the more traditional route of doing a Christmas special, Lady Gaga treated her monsters to 'A Very Gaga Thanksgiving' (Thu., 10PM ET on ABC). In it, she went back to her old grade school to give thanks to the inspirations that helped mold her into the woman she is today.

Like the costuming throughout the special, this was a very stripped back and vulnerable look at Lady Gaga. But nobody got a more stripped look at the superstar than Tony Bennett, who got the opportunity to draw her nude. It was a strange moment for Gaga, who is a huge admirer of Bennett, but she was able to throw off her inhibitions and embrace the experience.

It's Thanksgiving! The leaves are changing in certain parts of the country that still have seasons, the smell of butane from turkey fryers is filling the air and ABC is celebrating with ... Lady Gaga?

Because nothing says making the holidays "hip" like Gaga!

'A Very Gaga Thanksgiving' (Thurs., Nov. 24, 9:30PM ET on ABC) is a 90-minute TV special conceived and directed by Gaga herself that finds the queen of shock performing eight songs for a small audience that includes her friends and family. The songs range from her biggest hits to holiday classic 'White Christmas,' and she's even doing a duet of 'The Lady Is a Tramp' with Tony Bennett.

Yep, this is really a thing. ABC is calling it "Gaga-fied," I'm calling it awesomely random.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21

'How I Met Your Mother' (8PM ET, CBS)
Ted and Barney make a very bromantic decision together, while Robin tries to convince Marshall and Lily that moving to the suburbs is a terrible idea. We've already seen the episode, and it's one that fans absolutely shouldn't miss.

'You Deserve It' (9PM ET, ABC) series premiere
A six-episode unscripted series in which contestants aren't out to win money for themselves, but are playing for someone else -- someone they feel deserves it. Starting with a $10,000 round and going up to a $250,000 round, contestants purchase a series of clues to help them solve the puzzles and win money for their chosen recipient. The beneficiary, who is in another location under constant hidden-camera surveillance throughout the show, gets the surprise of a lifetime when family, friends, Brooke Burns and a camera crew burst in with life-changing news.
