Prison Break: Flight (finale)
by Keith McDuffee, posted May 15th 2006 10:23PM
(S01E22) The last three episodes of this show made up for one long, long season. Sometimes when I sit to catch a TV show at night, I'm looking to relax. That just didn't seem possible for the past two Mondays now. What will I do to make my Mondays so stressful, now that the season's over?Something that's quite obvious about this show is that Michael will never be taken lightly by the authorities, having let convicted felons loose. Even if he returns them to jail, how much time money he's caused everyone to hunt them down will be enough to lock him away forever. So, simply put, no matter what Michael does at this point, this show cannot end with an "all's forgiven" for Michael.

(S01E21) Alright, now this is what I'm talking about. The entire hour of this episode was tense. Couldn't you feel it? It made the long season leading up to this point worth it. Heck, even some of the scenes with Nick and Veronica were worth watching. Well, the last scenes with Nick, at least. You know, I was actually a little surprised that Pope was so angry at Michael right from the start, though that was a little more realistic of a reaction. I had thought he'd at least try to talk Michael down, or maybe just cooperate. And if Michael had put Pope's line on a pay porn phone line, there's no way the secretary would've interrupted him; she'd be horrified and probably just leave. And hell, I'd find it damned funny.
Prison Break: The Key

(S01E19) Like I'd mentioned in one of the recent APB podcasts, I already saw this episode a couple of weeks ago. Luckily the version I saw was the same as this one and ended just as shockingly. It's hard to believe that there's only The first surprise (for some of you, at least) was the return of Abruzzi. His back story was sadly missing a couple of episodes back, and it's too bad, since his story was likely one we'd have little remorse for, unlike all the other 'Breakers. Even Tweener has a sob story to tell, sitting in prison for a mere baseball card theft.
But is Abruzzi just playing everyone? Is he really reformed and forgiving of T-Bag? The fact he asked about Fibonachi again shure makes him out to be a player.
Prison Break: By the Skin and the Teeth

I think FOX made a big mistake (what else is new?) in putting this show on hiatus for months,
right in the middle of its first season. If the show had continued on with relatively regularly spaced episodes, I
might not be finding these past couple of weeks to be a bit lackluster. We should be on the edges of our seats right
about now, especially with Lincoln supposedly about to die at the conclusion of last week. Is it just me, or are these
episodes just so-so?TV Squad Hot Topics
