Bailey Gives the Chief a Pep Talk on 'Grey's Anatomy' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 5th 2010 2:45AM
Bailey gives the Chief a pep talk on 'Grey's Anatomy' If we're ever in a jam, we want Miranda Baily on our side, giving us pep talks and answering those 3AM phone calls.

On 'Grey's Anatomy' (Thurs., 9PM ET on ABC), the Chief knows he's an alcoholic, but feels like drinking "is all I have left." No, Chief. You listen to Bailey. She's got it right.

"You are better than this," she says. "I've seen you be better. Look, the way to win, the way to beat them is to stop fighting them. You go get better. You be the man that I've always known you to be. You be the Chief."

We couldn't have said it better ourselves.

Watch the video after the jump.

Was Daniel a dud?

by Anna Johns, posted Jan 9th 2006 10:34AM
Despite all the publicity leading up to Friday's premiere of The Book of Daniel on NBC, it still didn't do so hot in the ratings. The two-hour premiere, which aired from 9-11 pm on Friday, averaged about 9 million viewers. That's fewer than Close to Home, Numb3rs, In Justice, and 20/20, which all aired against Daniel on CBS and ABC. In Justice and 20/20 barely beat Daniel, each with a little more than 9 million viewers.

I watched The Book of Daniel out of pure curiosity. I like Aidan Quinn and I wanted to give the guy a chance. Plus, I wanted to see whether all the ruckus was justified. It wasn't.
