'So You Think You Can Dance' Reveals Top 10 and Season 8 All-Stars (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Jul 15th 2011 12:51AM
While there was joy in the studio on 'So You Think You Can Dance' (Thu., 8PM ET on FOX) this evening, thanks to a record eight Emmy nominations for the show, it was still elimination night. But that didn't mean they couldn't spare a few moments of congratulations for the series' first nod in Best Reality Competition Series and Cat Deeley's well-deserved nomination for Best Reality Host.Deeley then put that hosting right to business, working her way through the night, splitting the dancers in half, with three couples facing elimination and three couples moving directly into the Top 10 and the All-Stars next week. And, for the first time this season, the eliminated pair were not an existing couple.
'Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains' - 'Stay Everyone, Trust No One' Recap (Season Premiere)
by Jackie Schnoop, posted Feb 12th 2010 12:32AM

(S20E01) We've already had epic hype for an epic season of 'Survivor.' More intense than a typical 'All-Stars' version, this season pits the (supposedly) best of good and evil in a battle to be the sole survivor. It's kind of like the Stephen King novel, 'The Stand.' Forces for good and evil, perhaps with a few shades of gray in-between, ready to duke it out for the win. Well, I could see Evil Russell being Randall Flagg, can't you? The casting is right for both sides. I would have liked to see Richard Hatch and Yau-Man Chan in there, but it wasn't my decision to make. I'm just a witness to the chaos.
Project Runway: Season premiere

(S06E01) Project Runway is back! With few exceptions, the show seems remarkably unchanged by the move to Lifetime, so those who were fearful that without the Bravo touch Project Runway would cease to be... Project Runway, your fears should be allayed. The one significant change, one I'm still not sure about, is the move from New York to Los Angeles. New York just screams fashion to me, the rag trade, and the buzz of Seventh Avenue. L.A. doesn't, but we shall see how it plays out. Meanwhile, Heidi, Michael, Nina and Tim were there, the touchstones of the show, and as the new contestants were unveiled, PR was off and running.
In a smart programming move, Lifetime ran a Project Runway: All Stars edition before the Season Six premiere. Seeing familiar faces from the Bravo years immediately sent a message to viewers that this was the same Project Runway.
Amazing Race All-Stars coming in 2007
by Joel Keller, posted Nov 22nd 2006 7:35PM
First there was the Real World/Road Rules Challenge. Then there was All-Star Survivor and Big Brother All-Stars. Now... hold on to your hats, reality fans... CBS has decided that it's high time for an all-star version of The Amazing Race (Rich first mentioned this last month, but now it's official). And, yes, that means Rob and Amber (or as Rob says it, "Ambah") will be gracing our TVs once again.
According to ComingSoon.net, the 11th season of the classy, travel-oriented reality hit will be an all-star edition, pitting favorite pairs from previous versions. Variety is saying that along with "First Couple" of reality shows (they were on Survivor twice, got married on TV, and compteted on Race), their chief rivals, Joyce and Uchenna, will also participate as will David and Mary, the Kentucky coal miner and his wife. Not appearing? Jonathan and Victoria, Chip and Kim, and anyone from the oft-maligned family edition.
