by Jason Hughes, posted Mar 3rd 2011 3:14AM
Acting can be a grueling process. For example, if you rush off to Hollywood and get an agent as an actor, you might be able to go into a room and make out with Amanda Seyfried. She detailed the process for finding on-screen romantic chemistry on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC), and it couldn't have been less romantic. In the case of 'Red Riding Hood,' she had to work her way through 30 guys. "The guys come in one by one," she told Jimmy Kimmel. "I open my mouth, and then we make out. And then they leave."
That's pretty hot, huh?

On 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), host Chelsea Handler was quick to point out a particular role of actress Amanda Seyfried's that sets her apart.Sure, she's worked alongside Meryl Streep in 'Mamma Mia!' and played a significant part in every season of 'Big Love.' But no, Chelsea was referring to Amanda's appearance in the film 'Chloe.'
"You've been busy having a lot of lesbian scenes ... You made out with Julianne Moore, right?" said Handler. "I did, I did. I don't know how old she is, but damn! She's amazing," replied Amanda.
HBO Gives 'Big Love' Big Love
by Scott Harris, posted Feb 4th 2010 11:15AM
In the world of HBO's polygamist drama 'Big Love,' three's company but four's a family. But what does five make?Five seasons, that is, not five wives: According to the Hollywood Reporter, HBO has already renewed 'Big Love' for a fifth season after just four episodes of its current arc. Despite the alacrity of the decision, however, it comes as little surprise given that the season premiere posted a 49 percent ratings increase over last year, while the season as a whole is up 13 percent compared to season 3.

Aaron Paul of Breaking Bad: The TV Squad Interview
by Allison Waldman, posted Jun 19th 2009 11:01AM

On July 16th when the Primetime Emmy nominations are announced, one name that is likely to appear in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series is Aaron Paul. As Jesse Pinkman on AMC's Breaking Bad, Aaron has done amazing work, revealing a character as fascinating as he is flawed.
His performance this past season on Breaking Bad has generated lots of talk about an Emmy nomination, but not to be overlooked is the fact that Paul is also doing great work on HBO's Big Love. On that drama, his character, Scott, is the antithesis of Jesse. It's a testament to Aaron's skill as an actor that I didn't recognize him at first from Big Love when I watched Breaking Bad. A search of his IMDB listing was one of those 'ah-ha' moments. Recently, I had to chance to speak with Aaron, and we started with the jaw-dropping season finale of Breaking Bad.
Want to know more about the cast of Gossip Girl?
by Kristin Sample, posted Jun 30th 2008 1:01PM
Vanity Fair has done a piece on Gossip Girl profiling the likes and dislikes of its young Hollywood starlets. Amanda Seyfried, who's starring in the upcoming film Mamma Mia! with Meryl Streep, wants to work with Michael Caine on day. When asked whether she drove a hybrid or an Escalade, she said, "Audi. Maybe I should drive a hybrid. I do have a shirt that says, 'Go Green.'?" Well, that helps, I guess. Blake Lively, who got her start playing Bridget in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, got the car question too: "Hybrid. Even if anybody picked the Escalade they wouldn't say it, 'cause it'd be, like, bombed."
VH1.com pointed out that in the article Gossip Girl ripped off a famous Friends photo. The pictures features each cast in evening gowns and tuxes while lugging champagne. Technically, Vanity Fair ripped off Friends. I feel indignant at any comparison, intentional or not, made between Friends (*cue choir of angels*) and Gossip Girl. Check out the pictures and let me know what you think.
