For those who were unaware, Jon Gosselin, of Jon & Kate Plus 8 fame (or rather, infamy), had his New York City apartment ransacked during the holiday weekend. Evidence points to his new ex-girlfriend Hailey Glassman. Glassman is stating that Gosselin did it himself for publicity.

The first question is: why would Jon Gosselin need publicity? This isn't the Balloon Boy family. He's got a fleet of paparazzi following him and he gets plenty of publicity whether he wants it or not. I feel kind of bad for Gosselin since he's starting to have a string of high-profile sour relationships.

This whole situation smells of bitter ex-girlfriend. If Gosselin needed additional publicity, all he would need to do is have sex with one of the Kardashians or perhaps one of the female cast members of Jersey Shore and let the tape "accidentally" fall into the hands of the press.

I think the phrase "hit or miss" is appropriate when it comes to television and Jeffrey Tambor. He's been involved with some truly great series (The Larry Sanders Show, Arrested Development), and some not-so-great series (Twenty Good Years).

Now, Tambor is heading back to the small screen to star in The Captain, which was recently approved for a six-episode, midseason run on CBS. Tambor stars as a retired writer whose apartment building is soon occupied by a younger writer, played by Fran Kranz. The series also stars Raquel Welch, Al Madrigal, Valerie Azlynn and Joanna Garcia.

Say you were divorced and living in a studio-sized flat outside of London. You want to make your "bachelor pad" into something where you not only feel comfortable but shows that you've got something going on in your life. So what do you think your best decorating choice would be? Ultra-modern? IKEA-tastic? Traditional and homey?

How 'bout "Voyager transporter room?" Not exactly my first choice, but that's what Tony Alleyne chose, according to a profile at ElectronicHouse.com. About three years ago, he decided to transform his studio into the transporter room of what he felt used the best material of all the Star Trek starships; he called it "the luxury liner of the galaxy."

Neilsen Media Research is finally going to answer that question, now that it has decided to include college students in its ratings research. Starting next year, it will include dorm-bound and apartment-dwelling college students in its national sample of viewers. This could increase the coveted 18-24 viewership numbers from 3 to 12 percent. Neilsen estimates that college students who don't live at home with mom and dad watch 24 hours of television each week.

What did/do you watch during college? I actually didn't watch much television during college. All I remember watching is Conan O'Brien and South Park, which began in my junior year.
