Things I Hate About TV: Da Vinci shows
by Annie Wu, posted Feb 15th 2006 1:39PM
Alright, let me set the record straight before I begin... The Da Vinci
Code was totally over-hyped, but I enjoyed it. I am an art student and I have great appreciation for the work of
Leonardo da Vinci. I think Mona Lisa is a pretty nifty chick even though the whole "shaved eyebrows" thing is
kind of crazy. Got it? Good. Now, let me say... Dear, magical world of television: Please stop making Da Vinci
Code shows.Cracking the Da Vinci Code, Da Vinci Declassified, Exposing the Da Vinci Code... These are just three of the millions (I might be over-estimating a little) of Code-related shows that claim that they will illuminate secrets that you never knew before. I saw one a few years ago and thought it was pretty cool. Then I saw another one. And another. And another. They're impossible to avoid if you watch stuff like the History Channel a lot.
