Charlie's Ashes and Walden Schmidt Share Scene on 'Two and a Half Men' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Sep 20th 2011 1:46AM
For a brief moment, Charlie Harper and Walden Schmidt shared the screen on the season premiere of 'Two and a Half Men' (Mon., 9PM ET on CBS). It would turn out to be Charlie's last appearance -- sort of -- and Walden's first. Granted, Charlie was ashes at the time. After quickly moving past the funeral of Charlie, filled with jilted ex-lovers, before the opening credits even began, Alan began the process of moving on. As part of that, he decided to scatter Charlie's ashes on the beach.
Why he took the lid off the urn before he got to the beach was pretty obvious once a soaking wet Ashton Kutcher peeked through the back door. This way we get the sight gag of Charlie's ashes flying through the air as Alan shrieks and throws his arms up.

'Two and a Half Men,' the reboot, premieres tonight (Mon., Sept. 19, 9PM ET on CBS), and I've got details on returning faces and dream guest stars, straight from the cast.I sat down with stars Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones and new addition Ashton Kutcher on the show's set -- see part one of my interview with them here -- to try to get some scoop on the new season. We know Charlie Harper (Charlie Sheen) is obviously out, we keep hearing about a funeral for his dearly departed character and we've seen some photos of his old flames making a return, including Jenny McCarthy.
But what other familiar faces are stopping by the show again this season? "Welcome back, Judy Greer," Cryer said, about the multi-talented actress' return to the show in an entirely new role. "She was too good to only use as one person on this show."
"She's brilliant, and I think she's fantastic," Kutcher gushed about his old pal, who'll be playing his ex. "We've been having a lot of fun ... she's really funny."
Jon Cryer Doesn't Seem To Miss Charlie Sheen (VIDEO)

Since the Charlie Sheen meltdown and his eventual split from 'Two and A Half Men,' he and Jon Cryer haven't really been in touch. With the season premiere next week, the subject is coming up more and more, and Cryer again answered questions about Sheen and his replacement, Ashton Kutcher, Thursday on 'Good Day LA' (weekdays, 9AM PT on Fox).Cryer was asked again if he and Sheen had been in touch, and his answer hasn't changed. "God bless him, I wish him all the best," said Cryer. "But this question has come up so many times where people are like, 'Hey, is he calling you?' It's like, 'No.'"
Ashton Kutcher: 'Two and A Half Men' Role 'Seems Like the Best Job in the World' (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Sep 15th 2011 1:15PM
Ashton Kutcher takes his first bow on 'Two and a Half Men' when the show makes its season premiere on Monday. Kutcher's casting is one of the most high-profile sitcom replacements in TV history, as Kutcher takes over for Charlie Sheen after his public meltdown. Kutcher, though, is just enjoying himself, as he told 'The Early Show'(weekdays, 7AM on CBS) in an interview."It's always sort of nice to jump on something that's already moving and successful and that people already have an appetite for," he said. "It seemed like the best job in the world."
'Two and a Half Men' Creator Chuck Lorre, Jon Cryer Speak Out About Charlie Sheen & Ashton Kutcher
by Catherine Lawson, posted Sep 14th 2011 8:10AM
Ahead of the 'Two and a Half Men' Season 9 premiere next week (Mon., Sept. 19, 9PM ET on CBS), star Jon Cryer has spoken of his fears that Charlie Sheen's downward spiral was going to end in his death, and creator Chuck Lorre has finally broken his silence.Throughout the bitter public feud between Charlie Sheen and ... well, just about everybody connected to 'Two and a Half Men,' earlier this year, Lorre remained silent.
Now, however, he has opened up to 'TV Guide' magazine about Sheen, Ashton Kutcher and where the show goes from here.
Lorre even admits that initially he didn't think Kutcher was the right guy for the job.
Jon Cryer, Ashton Kutcher & Angus T. Jones Talk 'Two and a Half Men' Season 9 (VIDEO)
by Maggie Furlong, posted Sep 12th 2011 9:00AM
AOL TV got a very stealth, top secret, exclusive invitation a few weeks back: We were invited to interview the stars of 'Two and a Half Men' -- Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones and new addition Ashton Kutcher -- on the show's set. We talked all about the series reboot, the show's life after Charlie Sheen and welcoming Kutcher into the fold.I've split the interview into two parts, with more talk about returning faces, dream guest stars and Kutcher's giant trailer coming next week before the Season 9 premiere (Mon., Sept. 19, 9PM ET on CBS), but for now, watch to hear more about Kutcher's character Walden Schmidt and to see the guys talk about shirtlessness, underwater episodes and foxholes, cracking jokes together like they've been at this for years.
They also discuss how Alan and Jake Harper are feeling after the death of their relative and wise-cracking roommate Charlie Harper (Sheen). "I think Jake doesn't really care at all," Jones admitted with a laugh. "So far. So far he has a wall and I don't know if he's ever gonna break down and just cry for a minute." "We tuck it away," Cryer confirmed, after Kutcher pointed out that the show is called 'Two and a Half Men,' and men don't share their feelings the same way women do.

Promos have teased that all will be revealed in the premiere episode.Last night, however, we got a sneak peek at the new Sheen-less 'Men' courtesy of David Letterman and 'Late Show.' Series stars Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones presented last night's Top Ten list on 'Late Show,' which, fittingly enough, was The Top Ten Reasons to Watch the New Season of 'Two and a Half Men.'

Judy Greer to Play Ashton Kutcher's Ex on 'Two and a Half Men'
by Catherine Lawson, posted Aug 30th 2011 8:00AM
It's a 'Miss Guided' reunion on 'Two and a Half Men' this season as it's been announced that star Judy Greer has signed on for a recurring role on the comedy.According to TV Guide, Greer will appear in several episodes playing Bridget, the soon-to-be ex-wife of Ashton Kutcher's character, Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt.
Greer previously guest-starred in Season 4 of 'Two and a Half Men' back in 2007. She played Herb's sister Myra, who memorably hooked up with Charlie Harper when Herb married Alan's ex-wife Judith.
She and Kutcher worked together on 2008's 'Miss Guided,' which was executive produced by his Katalyst Films production company, and he also guest-starred on an episode.
Jon Cryer Dishes On Charlie Sheen-less 'Two and a Half Men'
by Jean Bentley, posted Aug 29th 2011 11:40AM
Although Chuck Lorre would probably love to leave Charlie Sheen behind as quickly as possible once 'Two and a Half Men' returns, remaining star Jon Cryer says the death of Sheen's character, Charlie Harper, is something the show will address all season long.Cryer told Entertainment Weekly in an interview, "The history of the show does not go away at all," despite Sheen's absence. "It will be dealt with all through the first season. It's not, 'Oh, that character's gone, let's forget completely about him.' There will be ramifications all through the season. We're not taking this into a new universe where the first show didn't exist."
'Two and a Half Men' is a lot more secretive than it has been in the past, but Cryer said he is taking it in stride. "It's funny because everybody is signing nondisclosure agreements," he said to EW. "The scripts go out with watermarks and every script gets handed to you personally by somebody from the show. They're being super secretive. And that's all new, the show has never functioned like that before."
'Punk'd' is Back! But Who's Behind the Hidden Camera Celebrity Pranks Now?
by Maggie Furlong, posted Aug 28th 2011 12:30PM
Ashton Kutcher has a very high-profile new gig on 'Two and a Half Men,' but the celebrity prank show that helped put him on the map is making a comeback with someone else at the helm. That's right: 'Punk'd' is back at MTV, according to Access Hollywood, and tween pop idol Justin Bieber is behind the elaborate hidden camera surprises for the first new episode.
Last year, rumor had it that Bieber was in talks to be the show's permanent new host, but now MTV is mixing things up, having a different celebrity act as host for each episode.
So who did the Biebs punk on Friday in Los Angeles for his episode? None other than his pal Taylor Swift, just days after he joined her on stage at her "Speak Now" tour stop in L.A. to perform a duet of his hit song 'Baby.'

Ashton Kutcher Won't Tell Letterman How Charlie Harper Dies (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Aug 25th 2011 3:26AM
When David Letterman had Ashton Kutcher on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS), he had one thing on his mind: find out how Charlie Harper dies in the upcoming season of 'Two and a Half Men.' By now everyone knows that Charlie Sheen's character is being killed off and he's being replaced by Kutcher, but we don't know how he dies.Do we really believe Kutcher that he has no idea how they're killing him off either? It is possible, considering his character might not even be around yet when it happens, or in the immediate aftermath. It is one of the closest-held secrets in television right now.
Ashton Kutcher's 'Two and a Half Men' Trailer Could House a Family of Four (At Least)
by Jean Bentley, posted Aug 15th 2011 3:30PM
City-dwellers, you probably won't be happy with this latest bit of news from the 'Two and a Half Men' set -- People magazine has photos of the ginormous trailer Ashton Kutcher spends his downtime in while on the set of his CBS sitcom, and it's about three times the size of your two-bedroom apartment (at least). There are seven 60-inch 3D plasma TVs in more than 1,000 square feet, which includes two bathrooms, a "conference area" and a kitchen with granite countertops, says People.
According to the Daily Mail, CBS shells out $8,750 a week to rent the trailer, which is probably nicer than any place I will ever reside in my entire life. People reports that it would cost $2 million to actually buy one of the trailers.
Ashton Kutcher and Hugh Laurie Are TV's Highest-Paid Actors
by Jean Bentley, posted Aug 10th 2011 1:55PM
Television is attracting more and more big-name stars, but this week's TV Guide Magazine points out that it's probably more of a fiscally sound decision for the actors than we realize. While the most elite A-Listers make millions in movies, it's much less lucrative for everyone else. TV, on the other hand, offers a steady paycheck. Six-digit paydays add up when you take a 22- or 13-episode season into account.
It probably won't surprise you to know that Ashton Kutcher, who is filling Charlie Sheen's shoes on 'Two and a Half Men,' tops the comedy list with a salary of $700,000 per episode -- half a million dollars less than what Sheen was making. 'House' star Hugh Laurie makes the same $700,000 for every hourlong episode of the Fox medical drama.
'Two and a Half Men' Spoilers: Deets on Charlie's Demise
by Jean Bentley, posted Aug 8th 2011 11:46AM
Although cast and audience members reportedly had to sign a confidentiality agreement at this weekend's taping of the season premiere of 'Two and a Half Men,' naturally the details surrounding the demise of Charlie Sheen's character and the return of former guest stars leaked online immediately. Warning: spoilers ahead.Photos on TMZ showed Charlie's famous blue striped polo shirt hanging in front of a church surrounded by flowers. Now that the details surrounding his death have leaked, we know why there's no casket -- apparently, while in Paris with Rose (the pair flew to the city of love), he fell into the subway tracks and was killed.
