Kutcher, DeGeneres, Gomez, Diaz On-Stage at 'Teen Choice 2011' (VIDEO)

by Mike Moody, posted Aug 8th 2011 3:09AM
teen choice ashton kutcherWhere can you find A-list Hollywood talent doing some of their wackiest work? On the Teen Choice Awards, of course!

During the '2011 Teen Choice Awards' (Sun., 8PM ET on FOX), celebs including Cameron Diaz, Ashton Kutcher, Zachary Levi, Ellen DeGeneres and Selena Gomez showed up to present awards, pick up a few trophies, and perform for a crowd of screaming, tweaked-out teens and tweens.

But the real star of the night was Justin Bieber, who sat in the crowd, but was referenced almost every five minutes by whoever was on stage at the time.

Bookies Taking Bets on How Charlie Sheen's 'Two and a Half Men' Character Will Be Killed Off

by Catherine Lawson, posted Jul 26th 2011 6:45AM
'Two and a Half Men' nudeCharlie Sheen's very public meltdown and exit from hit sitcom 'Two and a Half Men,' plus the subsequent fallout, has occupied a lot of TV news column inches and air time this year.

Now the focus has shifted to the upcoming Sheen-less Season 9, and the big questions right now are: Just how will Chuck Lorre get rid of Sheen's character, Charlie Harper?

And, is Ashton Kutcher's character really called Raymond?

Back in June AOL TV reported that Sheen's character would be written out in a very final way, which would prevent the actor from ever returning to the series, and that one scenario under discussion involved the character driving his car off a cliff.

Now, thanks to an Irish bookmaker, fans can -- in countries where it's legal to do so, obviously -- place bets on how Charlie Harper will be killed off. And the current frontrunner, with odds of 11/10, is ... "Drives his car off a cliff."

Ashton Kutcher Goes Nude for 'Two and a Half Men' Photo Campaign

by Chris Harnick, posted Jul 19th 2011 11:45AM
Ashton Kutcher Naked, Jon CryerWell, having a naked Ashton Kutcher is one way to make fans say "Charlie who?"

CBS has launched a very bare ad campaign for 'Two and a Half Men' Season 9, the first season with Ashton Kutcher and without Charlie Sheen.

In the new photo, series stars Angus T. Jones, Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer appear to be naked and holding up a sign that reads "All will be revealed ... 09.19.11." Cryer looks a bit jealous.

'Two and a Half Men' returns to CBS, sans Sheen, on Sept. 19 at 9PM. The network released the photo via Twitter.

Rumors are swirling about Sheen's character Charlie Harper getting killed off and Kutcher's character buying the house ... but what that means for Allan and Jake is unclear. Other than that, little is known about Kutcher's character.

Check out the full picture, but not the full monty, below.

Ashton Kutcher Gets a Start Date for 'Two and a Half Men,' Charlie Sheen in Talks With 'Mad Men' Producers

by Catherine Lawson, posted Jul 1st 2011 6:00AM
Ashton Kutcher, Jon Cryer and Angus T. JonesThe new post-Sheen era on 'Two and a Half Men' is due to officially start Aug. 1st when new star Ashton Kutcher and the rest of the cast report to work for the first read-through of Kutcher's debut episode.

The hotly anticipated Season 9 premiere episode is due to air Sept. 19th, and it will allegedly see Charlie Sheen's character, Charlie Harper, killed off (almost certainly in a very nasty, very unambiguously final way).

Meanwhile, according to 'The New York Post,' Sheen may be closing in on a deal for a new cable TV sitcom with Lionsgate, the production company behind 'Mad Men.' The new show would debut in the summer or fall of 2012.

A source told the 'Post' that the new sitcom would most likely be a takeoff on Sheen's real tabloid-crazy life -- with Sheen playing a version of himself, an actor with spectacular personal demons.

May Sweeps Bring Summer TV Blues

by Stephanie Earp, posted May 5th 2010 11:16AM
Welcome to the month of May, which songs and poems tells us is primarily responsible for bringing forth darling buds and spring flowers.

Not a single epigram or aphorism mentions May Sweeps, when May pulls the curtain on the TV season that was, bringing many good things -- and plenty of crap things -- to an end.

Over the next 30 days or so, over 60 shows will say goodbye and leave the airwaves for an extended summer vacation, while others are saying a permanent goodbye. Once they go, TV will leave us with nothing but a smattering of viewing options. Faced with such a dearth -- especially once the hockey post-season is over -- my upstairs neighbors usually cancel their satellite subscription for the summer. Ay yai yai! This is crazy talk! I happen to share that satellite subscription with them and I now have to convince them that it's worth continuing to split the bill for the delight of a few summer series.

But look at what I have to work with:

by Chris Harnick, posted Apr 14th 2010 12:15PM
Demi MooreDemi Moore stopped by 'Live with Regis & Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated) and talked about her first encounter with Ashton Kutcher.

The two were introduced by a mutual friend and were hanging out in a group. Moore said Kutcher did his thing, but she didn't seem into it. But, the chemistry started when Moore stepped out to call her children.

"I walked out to call my children and say goodnight -- by myself -- and all of a sudden the door to the hotel opened and he said, 'That's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard,' and closed the door," Moore said. "And I said, 'OK, this is somebody different.'"

Demi Moore Talks Saving a Life Using Twitter on 'Tonight Show' (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Apr 9th 2010 5:40AM
Demi Moore Talks Twitter on 'Tonight Show'OK, everyone knows Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are quite possibly the world's biggest Twitter fiends. But to be fair, the couple don't just Tweet to self-promote and/or proclaim their love for each other (though there is plenty of that). On the 'Tonight Show with Jay Leno' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC), Moore said that the social networking tool not only raises awareness for their charities, it actually saved someone's life.

The actress explained, "I had a young man, he'd only sent out four Tweets. One was just a general one, the others were to me and I wrote him back.... And people on Twitter responded, and [local authorities] got there in time and helped to save this man's life."

Leno Bids Farewell to 'The Jay Leno Show' (VIDEO)

by Chris Jordan, posted Feb 10th 2010 12:48PM
After months of late-night drama with Conan O'Brien and NBC, last night Jay Leno finally bid farewell to his recently canceled prime-time series 'The Jay Leno Show.' He left the show with a few zingers (watch out ,Heidi Montag) and gags from Donald Trump and Ashton Kutcher, and played catch with recently retired NFL quarterback Kurt Warner. In all, it seemed to be a cheery and upbeat -- if quiet -- goodbye.

Of course, we use the word "goodbye" lightly, as Leno will be returning to 'The Tonight Show' after the Olympics.

Ashton Kutcher Rips His Pants Off on 'Saturday Night Live' (VIDEO)

by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 8th 2010 4:05AM
Ashton Kutcher rips pants off on Saturday Night LiveOh, who are we kidding? Sure, Ashton Kutcher may pretend like he's a grown-up. He turned 32 over the weekend, after all (why, he's old enough to be Demi Moore's son – if she had him when she was 15, that is). But we know he's just a big kid at heart.

The first time he hosted 'Saturday Night Live' (Sat., 11:30PM ET on NBC) in 2003, he ripped his pants off. You can pretty much guess what happened this time he hosted the show. Yep, they came off again.

Review: 'Saturday Night Live' - Ashton Kutcher/Them Crooked Vultures

by Annie Wu, posted Feb 7th 2010 11:33AM

There was a different tone to this episode. The writing was a bit more ambitious than usual, going out on a limb a few times to tackle an idea that would require a little more work to get the laugh. It was admirable, sure, but a lot of the sketches still fell flat this week. It was strange. I also realize it's extra-weird if one considers my review of Ashton Kutcher's last stint on 'Saturday Night Live', in which I pondered out loud about whether or not he and the writers could have afforded to get a little wackier.

Kutcher's enthusiasm was nice to watch but the episode really felt mediocre. Maybe the low end of mediocre. Is that even a thing? Well, it is now.

Ashton Kutcher as 'Saturday Night Live' Host: 3 Memorable Moments

by Hulu Staff, posted Feb 5th 2010 4:00PM
Ashton KutcherTomorrow, 'Valentine's Day' star Ashton Kutcher will be stepping onto the stage at Studio 8H for the fourth time as host of 'Saturday Night Live.' Since the long-running sketch comedy series hasn't had many "I can see Russia from my house!" moments this season, will Kutcher up the ante?

It's too soon to tell, but the team at Hulu can't help but wonder if we'll be treated to any mentions of Twitter and perhaps a Demi Moore cameo this weekend -- after all, Moore gave her now-hubby some fashion advice in his 2008 monologue, which we've highlighted (along with two others) below. Judging on his previous appearances, what do you think: Will Kutcher deliver?

"It's okay, I like it that way," Kutcher said, fumbling with the microphone and stowing the pack in his pocket. "I got so excited ... that my mike just popped right out."
