The winner has been crowned and the confetti has been swept away, but for fans of 'The Voice' who weren't fortunate enough to be in the crowd for the finale last night, allow AOL TV to lift the curtain for you.
Not only did we have a plum spot from which to admire the back of Adam Levine's head during the taping (and to admire all of the artists' off-screen antics), we later hit the red carpet to talk to the coaches and the winner as they reflected on a triumphant first season.

'The Voice' Finale: Who is the Singing Competition's First Winner? (VIDEO)

'American Idol' revolutionized the singing competition in America ten years ago, and its first winner, Kelly Clarkson, went on to worldwide success and fame. This summer, 'The Voice' (Wed., 8PM ET on NBC) has arguably reinvented the concept by putting the focus on ... the voice. Will its winner go on to comparable success?
With top caliber coaches in Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Christina Aguilera, the show was more about nurturing tomorrow's superstars than sitting distant and aloof in judgment of them. And after all was said and done it came down to 2 percent.

The first season of 'The Voice' comes to an end this week with performances by the finalists Tuesday night and the results show Wednesday. Three out of the four remaining singers appeared Monday on 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC) to talk about what they've learned from their celebrity coaches and how they feel about their competition.Dia Frampton said she's learned a lot from watching Blake Shelton perform for an audience. "I think the best time I ever had with him is when he took us to a show in Ohio and I was kind of watching him perform," she said. Vicci Martinez has had a good time just being around Cee Lo Green. "He's a riot," she said. "You never know what you're going to get from him."

'The Voice' (Tue., 9PM ET on NBC) continued blazing toward its finale next week at a breakneck pace. This week, we got the final four members of our Elite Eight, and got to hear them sing. Tomorrow, another hatchet job will send four of them home, leaving each Coach with only one contender for the finale.!!SPOILER ALERT!!
Before the Top 8 could sing, though, we needed to know who they were. And that meant getting the results of last week's battle between Teams Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine. As with the prior week, America's vote would save one contestant, while the Coach would save the other.
Beverly McClellan of 'The Voice' Belts 'The Only One' on 'Access Hollywood Live' (VIDEO)
by Nick Zaino, posted Jun 20th 2011 2:20PM
Beverly McClellan is one of the most popular contestants on 'The Voice,' in part because she can belt out a song like Melissa Etheridge's 'The Only One' with grit and passion. McClellan said Monday on 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated on NBC) that she appeared on a radio talk show with Etheridge and explained that she'd had to sing the song with a chest cold. It didn't seem to affect her performance (or her popularity). When host Billy Bush reminded McClellan of her popularity, she said it warmed her heart. She also seemed humbled to have had the chance to speak with Etheridge. "[I] told her how hard it was to sing her song with a chest cold," said McClellan. "She's like, 'I bet.'"
