by Chris Harnick, posted Nov 2nd 2011 10:30AM
The Little CoupleIn the Season 4 finale of 'The Little Couple,' the couple found out one of their embryos successfully transferred to a surrogate. However, the good news sadly turned bad after they found out the surrogate had a miscarriage.

'The Little Couple' stars Dr. Jennifer Arnold and husband Bill Klein. The two have skeletal dysplasia, a bone-growth disorder that caused their dwarfism. The show has documented their struggles with becoming parents and the decision to ultimately use a surrogate after learning pregnancy would pose health risks for Jennifer.

Big New House For Little Hailey on 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Oct 17th 2011 3:30AM
'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' - 'The Korpai Family'This week, Ty Pennington and the 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' (Sun., 8PM ET on ABC) took on a task very close to the heart for Amy and Matt Roloff ('Little People Big World'). The Korpai family have a five-year old daughter, Hailey, with dwarfism, but their house is hardly suitable for her needs.

The Roloffs undertook a similar renovation on their farm to make the kitchen and other areas of the house more user-friendly for little people. So the design team stopped by Roloff farms for some inspiration, and invited Matt back to help with the build. Bill Klein and Jen Arnold ('The Little Couple') got involved as well, as this was more than just a rebuild of a house.

'Little Couple' Jen Arnold and Bill Klein on the Show's New Season

by Joel Keller, posted Jun 1st 2010 2:02PM
Jen Arnold and Bill Klein of 'The Little Couple' on TLCJen Arnold and Bill Klein, stars of the TLC reality series 'The Little Couple,' are unique in the universe of cable reality, but not because of their size. The couple, who begin their third season on June 1 at 10PM ET, are unique because they're so unrelentingly normal. And, considering Jen is a prominent neonatal physician and Bill owns his own training business, showing their "normalness" was very important to the both of them.

"I... wanted to make sure that overall the show was positive and not sensational, because the last thing I wanted to do was to negatively affect our careers," said Jen, "which always is a risk you take when you put yourself out there in the spotlight."

I spoke to Jen and Bill while they were visiting New York to attend TLC's summer press party; they were also doing some press and shooting for the show, including Bill's upcoming stand-up routine at Caroline's. Read on to find out how that came about.

TLC Renews 'The Little Couple,' Their Best "Little" Show

by Joel Keller, posted Feb 23rd 2010 3:02PM
Jen Arnold and Bill Klein of 'The Little Couple' on TLCA couple of weeks ago, I joked that Discovery Networks seems to have every little person in America under contract for a reality show. They do seem to be fascinated with the lives of people with dwarfism, aren't they?

The company's various channels have explored primordial dwarfism, followed a little couple as they adopted an Eastern European baby with dwarfism, and followed a third little couple during the wife's pregnancy. They've also decided to build a series around a little couple who own a chocolate shop in Salt Lake City ('The Little Chocolatiers') and a little person who rescues pit bulls ('Pit Boss'). And the family who started TLC down this road, the Roloffs, are still cranking out episodes of 'Little People, Big World.'

Of all these shows, I've always liked 'The Little Couple' the best. I'm not sure if it's because it's so unrelentingly normal or that Bill Klein and Jen Arnold make such a charming couple. Either way, it's good to hear that TLC has renewed the show for a third season.
