America's Got Talent: Performance show four
(S04E19) A few of you told me that I was wrong by claiming that last week's performance show was electrifying. I agree with you that we have seen much better performance shows in the past. However, when you compare the third performance show of the season with the two previous, you have to admit that it was the most electrifying.Save for a few of tonight's acts, such as Ishaara and Barbara, the third performance show is still the best performance show we've had so far this season.
My comments on the fourth performance show and my predictions coming up!
Chris Kattan is The Greatest American Bollywood Hero
Landing a film like Bollywood Hero in the wake of the aftershocks that Slumdog Millionaire left on moviegoers and Oscar voters might seem like perfect timing on a scale that only a NASA pilot could coordinate.
Executive producers Ted Skillman and Belisa Balaban said the idea isn't just right for its time. It was also ahead of its time, four years ahead of time to be exact.
"The project was initially conceived of four years ago, but the script was written before we'd seen ever Slumdog," Balaban said. "When we first came up with the idea, very few people were talking about Hindi cinema and we got a lot of blank stares at first."
Now audiences across the country will get a re-education on the Bollywood machine when their three part miniseries starring Saturday Night Live alum Chris Kattan airs at 10 p.m. Pacific/Eastern on Aug. 6, 7 and 8 on IFC.
America's Got Talent: Audition show 9

(S04E09) "MySpace is delivering the weird, the wacky, the wonderful." - The Hoff
So tonight we were treated with a round of MySpace auditions. As was the case last season, the MySpace episode doesn't bring anything special to the show, since the producers basically choose bad and good acts from performers who post videos of themselves performing on MySpace. Isn't the goal of the MySpace episode -- well, episodes this year since tomorrow is also a MySpace one -- to show that talent can be discovered on the web? Therefore, producers should only select acts that have potential based on their MySpace page. No?
In any case, to learn more about the MySpace episodes, as well as be reminded of last year's America's Got Talent MySpace episode, go to the America's Got Talent MySpace page. So let's review what MySpace gave us tonight, shall we?
So You Think You Can Dance: Top 10 Perform
(S05E16) America finally has full control of the eliminations on So You Think You Can Dance. Cat reminds us that the couples will all be shuffled randomly. Was height ever a hot topic as is was tonight? The tallest kept getting paired up with the shortest in random draws. At least it reinforced the idea that the pairings were no longer rigged.I want more Debbie Allen as the third judge. Her comments may be equally insane as Mia Michaels, but she comes off as the supportive mother with the way she speaks and the words she uses.
So You Think You Can Dance: Top 10 Revealed

(S04E15)It's time to find out which dancers will be going on tour after So You Think You Can Dance ends this August. I'm going to put it out there now (I think it's time): I want either Joshua or Katee to win this competition. I think it would be especially nice if the girl they almost didn't put on the show won the whole sha-bang!
Other thoughts before we begin... Nigel is a little cranky lately. I don't like him chiding Cat. All she did was remind everyone to tune in to the finale. By the way, there's going to be a sick popping battle during SYTYCD's live finale. Awesome. My review of tonight's show is after the jump.
Celebrity Big Brother UK update: Friday evictions announced
If you're of a sensitive disposition, and are planning to watch tonight's live eviction of Celebrity Big Brother on your Sky+ PVR, look away now, as we're about to get all spoilery on you.Following a total debacle earlier this week when no fewer than five housemates were nominated for eviction, Channel Four had to issue an apology after messing up the telephone appeal by asking viewers to save Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, not evict her.
Of course, Shlipa was at the centre of last week's racism row, starring none other than former housemate Jade Goody, and was waiting patiently tonight for host Davina McCall to announce the last two people to be dumped out of the house by the public.
Warning: spoilers after the jump.
Bollywood Thriller
If you're life has been feeling empty lately and you can't figure out why that is, it's probably because you've never seen a Bollywood version of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video. Nine out of ten dentists recommend you watch the clip I've placed after the jump at least three times a day. I'm not sure why, but they do. The video simulates the zombie dancing from Michael Jackson's original, and the music is Thrilleresque, but I'm fairly certain the man isn't singing "Thriller." Either way, the damn song is stuck in my head now, whatever it is. I think I might actually like this version better anyway, although, like the original, I can't figure out why the girl doesn't just run away. The zombies clearly aren't going to give chase until after they finish their dance number. They've been rehearsing it for days, after all.

Hustle: Episode 16
(S03E04) The episode started in the middle of a con, while the gang was having lunch with the mark. Stacie appeared in a traditional Indian dress, quite the vision. There was talk about a movie investment. The mark was an Indian fellow named Samar. He was extremely unkind and, as he left, Mickey remarked that he never wanted to take anyone's money so badly. Samar rode away in a limo, chaffeured by Danny. Suddenly, he said that everything was too perfect... "You're all con artists!" Danny turned around to try and make some excuse, but ended up driving into a stationary car. Crap.TV Squad Hot Topics
