Sneak Peek: Watch three minutes of tonight's House
by Jane Boursaw, posted Nov 30th 2009 10:01AM
Ooh, the tables are turned in tonight's House, and Wilson is the one with the medical mystery on his hands. On a hunting trip, his buddy, played by The West Wing star Josh Malina, has a physical meltdown, and Wilson has to figure out what's going on.
Earlier this year, executive producer Katie Jacobs said, "We have this upcoming episode where House is to Wilson as Wilson is usually to House. Like he'll be in the middle of something and House will drop by, or he'll go see House in the middle of a differential diagnosis meeting, and we'll never even know what they were working on. I'm excited about it."And, of course, I always love the episodes where Hugh Laurie gets to display his musical talents, even if it IS in a House-centric way. In fact, I'm loving House this season. How about you? Join in our spirited discussion on whether House and Cuddy should get together. Here's a three-minute clip of tonight's episode, which airs at 8 PM on Fox.
Right Now on Cinematical

The folks at our sister site Cinematical are working hard to give you news and reviews of the best -- and worst -- the silver screen has to offer. Here are some of their musings on the latest blockbusters, indies, and everything in between:- Chuck's Zachary Levi is in a movie! He plays Ray, a half-Pakistani/half-white actor trying to make it in Hollywood and dating Life's Sarah Shahi. It's a TV bonanza! Check out the trailers for Shades of Ray over on Cinematical.
- I knew that The Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan collaborated with his brother on the script for Memento, but it's his other brother who is wanted for kidnapping and murder. Get the details on Cinematical.
- With the economy in the crapper, nobody really gives a crap about the environment at the moment, but you can still do some good. If you buy a ticket to Earth on its opening weekend, Disney will plant a tree in your name.
- I really want I Love You, Man to be good. Read Cinematical's review to see if it's worth seeing this weekend.
- ...Or if Bromances aren't your thing, you can check out Julia Roberts' return to the big screen in Duplicity--but check out Cinematical's review first.
TV Squad Ten: Top Bromances on TV right now
by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 18th 2009 11:30AM
Bromances have been around, well, forever really, but you'd never use the term for say, Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte (48 Hours) or Paul Newman and Robert Redford (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid). That just wouldn't be right! And besides that, when do "buddies" turn into "bromantic pals"? Would love to hear your thoughts on that. At any rate, "bromance" is part of our language now, and it's even the title of an MTV show starring Brody Jenner and his buds.
I'm not ashamed to say I have girl-crushes on a few TV babes (True Blood's Sookie Stackhouse springs to mind), so it's not unfeasible for a guy to have a man-crush on another guy. I don't know if that's true for all these pairings, but since I'm writing this, we'll say it is. Take a look at my top ten bromances on TV right now:

What to Watch Monday, Dec. 29
by Kim Potts, posted Dec 29th 2008 5:00AM
'The City'(10 and 10:30PM, MTV) series premiere
We've always loved that Whitney Port's the most drama-free member of 'The Hills' bunch, but here's hoping that's no longer the case now that she's moved to New York City for this spinoff.
Her days of listening to L.C.'s never-ending relationship woes are indeed behind her. But with a prestigious new job with fashionista Diane von Furstenberg comes ambitious new co-workers, and that promises to lead to major office politics.
And let's not forget Whit's new boyfriend Jay ... he's no Justin Bobby (and we mean that in a good way), but between a demanding job, life in a new city and quality time with her guy, Whitney's bound to find out just how hectic reality TV life can get.
The Hills co-star gets his own series
by Kristin Sample, posted Jun 10th 2008 9:02AM
Lauren Conrad is like the Flavor Flav of MTV. That statement probably needs some explanation. Much like Flav's stardom has spawned spin-off after spin-off (with spin-offs of the spin-offs), LC is shining her light on fellow Hills cast members. First, I reported that Whitney Port is getting her own show and now...The Hills co-star Brody Jenner is getting his own spin-off called Bromance. The show, brainchild of Ryan Seacrest's company (thanks Seacrest), is a competition where regular guys come to Hollywood for a chance to be in...get this...Brody's entourage. MTV Senior VP of Series Development Liz Gateley says, "Brody is the perfect fit for this concept; he is the type of guy everyone wants to hang out with."
But wait, there's more. In each episode's elimination ceremony, the guys will gather in a hot tub for the news. Furthermore, similar to Rock of Love and Flavor of Love, the guys will participate in various competitions (i.e. skydiving and dealing with the paparazzi), go on group dates, and be rewarded with alone time with Brody.
