Charlie Sheen to Undergo 'Anger Management' With 'Drew Carey Show' Creator

Charlie SheenThis "Charlie Sheen gets a new television show" thing is still happening, somehow. The latest on the troubled star's newest project, a TV adaptation of the 2003 Adam Sandler/Jack Nicholson movie, is that 'The Drew Carey Show' creator Bruce Helford is on board to run the new series.

According to Deadline, Helford is the number one candidate to usher Sheen back to stardom, though the decision is not yet final. Helsford previously worked on 'The Drew Carey Show' and 'George Lopez.'

Lionsgate TV announced last month that the winning warlock would officially return to TV following his very public battle with 'Two and a Half Men' creator Chuck Lorre as 'Anger Management''s tough therapist who is angrier than his mild-mannered patient.

Bernie Mac coming back to TV

Bernie MacBernie Mac has signed a deal with FOX to star in a new sitcom.

Starting Under will be about a divorced, opinionated guy who not only finds himself living with his son but also working for him. The show has been giving a large episode order - seven episodes, which I guess is large nowadays - and the deal was finalized just before all this strike stuff happened.
