Bruce Willis, Karl Urban Discuss 'Red,' Working with 93-Year-Old Ernest Borgnine (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Oct 13th 2010 6:40AM
Jimmy Kimmel had a high compliment to pay 'Red' actors Bruce Willis and Karl Urban. His friend "James 'Baby Doll' Dixon" always falls asleep in movies. But during 'Red,' "He was awake through the whole film -- that's how good it was," said the host of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12:05AM ET on ABC).Kimmel asked Willis, "If the movie wasn't good, would you come out and lie?" He nodded sheepishly. "I have lied ... not about this film, but I have."
Karl Urban discussed working with another 'Red' star, the 93-year-old Ernest Borgnine. When a wardrobe girl asked the iconic actor how he stays so sprightly, Borgnine gave a lewd explanation.

Mary-Louise Parker Pranks Bruce Willis With a Live Alligator (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Oct 8th 2010 2:15PM
After Bruce Willis tells Mary-Louise Parker that fans sometimes respond to him as if they've seen "an alligator fly out of a swamp and start singing Chuck Berry," Parker decides to prank Willis with an actual live alligator on the set of their movie 'Red,' she said on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated).Bruce Willis Has An Important Message for Those Wanting to Shave Their Heads (VIDEO)
by Aimee Deeken, posted Oct 6th 2010 6:25AM
Jon Stewart may have a man-crush on Bruce Willis: He was exceedingly complimentary when the actor dropped by 'The Daily Show' (weeknights, 11PM ET on COM). "You have a good head for what you've got going on," said Stewart, gesturing to his bald scalp. "It's a tremendously well-sculpted skull ... I respect you, and I respect how you've aged," Stewart deadpanned.Willis turned to the camera and said, "You kids at home, listen to what Jon's saying, because really, you do not want to shave your heads unnecessarily. Don't do it too early. Make sure you know what your head looks like underneath all that hair."
Stewart cracked a joke about the impromptu public service announcement, and Willis couldn't keep a straight face. The host then threw in another compliment for Willis, just for good measure.
Bruce Willis Shows Off His Lady Gaga-Inspired "Meat Hairpiece" (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Oct 5th 2010 2:30AM
Actor Bruce Willis is a bald, bald man. He's been bald for so long (or had his head shaved to hide it), that we can barely remember the days when he had a full head of hair.So on the new 'Late Show' (11:35PM ET on CBS), Bruce decided to fix this problem once and for all. He showed up wearing a "meat hairpiece": a tribute to Lady Gaga's "meat dress" at this year's VMAs.
To his credit, David Letterman instantly noticed that there was something different about his friend. He just couldn't quite put his finger on it. "You've dyed your ... hair?" Dave said questioningly. Bruce went on to explain the concept of his meat hairpiece. "It's 100 percent ground beef sirloin," he said. "Top shelf, organic." Ooh, classy! Sounds expensive. But then, we wouldn't expect a wealthy actor like Mr. Willis to buy a cheap meat hairpiece.
Biff Henderson Visits the 'Cop Out' Set (VIDEO)

Biff Henderson from 'Late Show With David Letterman' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS) paid a visit to the set of 'Cop Out.' He hung out with Bruce Willis and Kevin Smith, but nobody got a word in edge-wise with Tracy Morgan holding court.Let's see, he covered a pivotal scene from 'Planet of the Apes,' his favorite movie ('Shaft'), his least favorite movie ('E.T.'), his biological mother (Katharine Hepburn), losing his virginity at the age of six, Marion Barry, and e-Harmony.
And we're sure there were a few more Easter eggs hidden in there.

The folks at our sister site, Cinematical, are working hard to give you news and reviews of the best -- and worst -- the silver screen has to offer. Here are some of their musings on the latest blockbusters, indies, and everything in between:- Cinematical talks ageless actors: namely commercial co-stars Abe Vigoda and Betty White. Who's your favorite?
- My dog, Buckley, is named after Ben Stiller's dog in 'The Royal Tenenbaums.' Does your pet have a cinematical name?
- Bruce Willis wants to do a 5th 'Die Hard' installment. I'm all for this. Cinematical discusses how it should go.
- Taylor Lautner may not be 'Max Steel,' but it looks like he will be 'Stretch Armstrong.'
- Cinematical absolutely loathed 'Cop Out,' but I saw it last night and quite enjoyed it. It wasn't the funniest movie ever made, but I was entertained. What did you think about it?
Bruce Willis Tests Regis Philbin's Wine Knowledge (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Feb 25th 2010 12:30PM
Bruce Willis tests Regis Philbin's knowledge as a wine connoisseur on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated), quizzing him on his favorite varieties of white and red wine and preferred chill temperature. Philbin manages to impress Willis with his knowledge until he admits his favorite mixed drink is a Dirty Apple Martini. Willis is speechless after Philbin's admission and simply makes a disgusted face and looks away.

Bruce Willis is Not John McClane in Real Life (VIDEO)
by Donald Deane, posted Feb 22nd 2010 4:30PM
As much as we want it to be true, Bruce Willis isn't really John McClane from the 'Die Hard' series. Willis said on 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM ET on ABC) that fans have confused him for the character in real life, especially when he was younger. "I think people get confused sometimes between who I am as a person and who I play on the big screen," Willis said.

Bruce Willis is a New York Jets Fan (VIDEO)
by Jane Boursaw, posted Feb 2nd 2010 3:14AM
If there was any doubt whether Bruce Willis is a New York Jets fan, he set the record straight on 'The Late Show With David Letterman' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS). Bruno burst onto the stage wearing a green and white Sanchez jersey, carrying pom poms and cheering his little heart out. "Nobody in the history of this show has ever made an entrance like that!" exclaimed Letterman. "It was fantastic!"
Yeah, maybe. And a little frightening, too. Maybe Willis is having a mini-breakdown over the fact that the Jets were eliminated from the Super Bowl last Sunday.

The folks at our sister site Cinematical are working hard to give you news and reviews of the best -- and worst -- the silver screen has to offer. Here are some of their musings on the latest blockbusters, indies, and everything in between:- Around this time of year, it's always good to get the kids out of the house. But is taking them to go see Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel a worthwhile family adventure?
- If chipmunks aren't up your alley, Cinematical talks about the best family films of the decade.
- I love going to see a movie over the holidays, but this year I'm in the Outer banks with the family and the local movie theater has actually closed for the season. So while I would really like to see Sherlock Holmes, I can't. I can, however, read Cinematical's Sherlock Holmes review here.
- We have been watching a lot of DVDs though, including The Hangover, which is on Cinematical's Blu-Ray/DVD shopping guide.
- One of the movies I'm looking forward to the most is Cop Out, the Tracy Morgan/ Bruce Willis cop movie, directed by Kevin Smith. It was originally supposed to be called, A Couple of Dicks, but in any case, it finally has a trailer.
6 Guest Stars Who Deserve Their Own Show

Elizabeth Banks is at it again. The television cameo all-star, fresh off her hilarious turn as the boozy best friend of gay couple Mitchell and Cameron on 'Modern Family', will make an appearance as Jack Donaghy's newest flame in a four-episode arc of '30 Rock' this season.
As a tribute to Banks -- who by now should have her own show based on past performances on other programs-- we count down six other high-profile cameo kings and queens of network television that should have shows of their own.

Bruce Willis stars in Die Hard 5: Intern Harder
by Bob Sassone, posted Jun 9th 2009 2:26PM
The Die Hard franchise has gone through a lot of scenarios, from a skyscraper being taken over to an airport being taken over to bombs being planted around a citiy to terrorists trying to kill the Apple guy, but I think I'd watch a movie about the adventures of a highly skilled late night talk show intern. From last night's Late Show:
Bruce Willis shows off his small (but pivotal) role in a big screen movie
by Bob Sassone, posted May 7th 2009 2:35PM
Did you know that Bruce Willis was in the number one movie right now, Obsessed? Viewers of last night's Late Show with David Letterman didn't know it either. Thankfully, Willis brought along a clip!
(Willis also got bottles smashed on his head last night.)
