Blue Thunder coming to DVD

Wait a second. Is this Blue Thunder, the short-lived 80s action-adventure series starring James Farantino and Dana Carvey? And it's coming to DVD in August? Yikes. Hey, I'm a big fan of short-lived, obscure TV shows from the 80s, but I can think of about 50 or 60 other shows I would like to see on DVD before this one.But it's an interesting 80s curio nonetheless. Yes, that is the same Dana Carvey from Saturday Night Live. Before he got that gig, he was Clinton Wonderlove (wow, now there's a great character name), the computer whiz sidekick to hero James Farentino's character. And to show just how much of an 80s action show this was, it also starred not only Dick Butkus, but Bubba Smith!
