Ever wonder what Space Ghost really looks like?
by Adam Finley, posted Jan 5th 2007 8:02PM
We've only seen him cloaked in his black hood, both in the original Space Ghost cartoon and on his talk show Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, but what does Space Ghost look like beneath that mysterious hood? Well, he looks like this. That's a model sheet drawn by original Space Ghost designer Alex Toth, who passed away last June. C. Martin Croker, who worked on Space Ghost: Coast to Coast from the beginning and voiced the characters of Zorak and Moltar, posted the image on his blog. Is it just me, or does Space Ghost look a little like Aquaman? Maybe they were actually brothers, and one day he tried to swim like Aquaman but drowned, later coming back to fight aliens and eventually host his own talk show.Zorak has a blog

Well, not really, but C. Martin Croker, who provided the voice of both Zorak and Moltar on Space Ghost: Coast to Coast has a blog, and it's quite interesting if you're interested in older comics, animation, and toys. Right now Croker has posted an interview from the early '90s conducted by John K. with Flintstones designer Ed Benedict, and check out this page from an old Dennis the Menace comic where Mr. Wilson explains to the boys what a hookah is. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure in the next issue Dennis' father shows the neighborhood kids how to turn an apple into a bong. Packed with important lessons those old comic books were.
