Cameron Diaz Talks About 'Least Sexiest Sex Scene' With Justin Timberlake (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 27th 2011 2:58AM
Cameron Diaz, 'The Graham Norton Show'In her new film 'Bad Teacher,' Cameron Diaz got the opportunity to act with her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake. She told 'The Graham Norton Show' (Sat., 10PM ET on BBC America) that their shared history actually helped them with the chemistry, and particularly their more intimate scenes.

"It was our goal to make the least sexiest sex scene that's ever been caught on film, and I really believe that we succeeded," she explained. "I don't think we could have achieved it if it was some guy I didn't know."

The familiarity she had with Timberlake allowed them to shake off any jitters they might have about a sex scene and turn it into the awkward beast they were looking for.

Jimmy Fallon and Cameron Diaz Do a Talk Show Using 'Other Voices' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 22nd 2011 6:44AM
Cameron Diaz, 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'In a sketch that looked like it was ripped right out of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' or the more recent 'Drew Carey's Improv-a-Ganza,' Jimmy Fallon and Cameron Diaz participated in an interview on 'Late Night' (Weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC) where neither of them could talk.

Instead, someone off-stage was on hand to provide all of their words. They simply had to play along with what was being said, which proved more difficult as the sketch went along and the lines got more and more ridiculous.

Fallon is always pretty good for cracking up anyway, but we can't blame him for losing it as many times as his "voice" was having him reach into his pocket to get a gift for Diaz. Each time, though, the object in his pocket was determined to not be a roll of dimes, a AAA battery or a Tootsie Roll.

Cameron Diaz Removes Jon Stewart's Stitches on 'The Daily Show' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 22nd 2011 6:05AM
Cameron Diaz, 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart'Hopefully Cameron Diaz scrubbed up before her appearance on 'The Daily Show' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on Comedy Central). She may not have known about it before she showed up on set, but Jon Stewart was looking for Dr. Diaz this day.

See, it was time to get those pesky stitches out from when he slashed his wrist open mocking Anthony Wiener's press conference. Who needs doctors when you have celebrities? And Diaz was pretty excited about the task as well.

"My mouth is salivating," she told Stewart. "I'm frothing at the mouth, I'm so excited."

The procedure wound up taking up her entire segment, but she did manage to squeeze a few words in about her new film, 'Bad Teacher.' And now she's ready for the sequel, 'Bad Doctor.'

Cameron Diaz Feeds Popcorn to David Letterman on 'Late Show' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jun 21st 2011 3:15AM
Cameron Diaz, 'Late Show with David Letterman'Ever since the Super Bowl, Cameron Diaz has been chasing this story about her feeding popcorn to boyfriend Alex Rodriguez at the big game. The moment was caught on video and immediately became an Internet sensation. She set the record straight on 'Late Show,' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS), but David Letterman seemed less concerned with that.

According to Diaz, it was a playful moment when Rodriguez reached for one of the last pieces of popcorn in the bucket, and she denied him. Then, she told him, "You know what, I love you too much. I'm gonna give it to you. You deserve it."

Cameron Diaz Explains Her Nickname 'The Intestinator' From the 'Bad Teacher' Set (VIDEO)

by Nick Zaino, posted Jun 20th 2011 1:12PM
Cameron Diaz on 'Good Morning America'Cameron Diaz made some very specific choices for her title role in the new film 'Bad Teacher.' Monday on 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM on ABC), she explained one of the more prominent choices, displaying her character's consumer nature by constantly eating the worst junk food she could find in every scene. The crew didn't think she'd be able to handle it, but she enjoyed herself.

"She's always taking, taking," said Diaz. "So I decided that I was gonna, in every scene, be eating something or drinking something or chewing on something. So I, the whole film, all I did was ... and all the worst foods like corn dogs and fried chicken. It was really just an excuse to eat all of that bad food."

The prop guys had a spit bucket ready for her, but she declined and just ate the food. They christened her "The Intestinator" for her iron constitution.

Tom Cruise Returns to 'Oprah' in May

by Rich Keller, posted Apr 23rd 2010 4:30PM
Jumpin Cruise! Tom Cruise returns to 'Oprah' on May 14thWhat do you do when you're Oprah Winfrey, you're ending your mega-successful show in about a year and you want your audience to surge during the May sweeps? First, you get Tom Cruise to return to your program. Then, you fill in around that.

That's exactly what Oprah is doing on her show. On the May 14 installment Cruise, along with Cameron Diaz, will show up to promote their upcoming action-comedy 'Knight and Day.' Don't look for too much couch-jumping by Mr. Cruise, though, as he has a movie to promote.

Surrounding Cruise's appearance are a bevy of personalities, both in and out of Hollywood, that will stop by to chat with Miss O. This includes Simon Cowell, Dolly Parton, former First Lady Laura Bush, Julia Roberts and, for all of you screaming teenage girls out there, Justin Bieber. The full schedule can be found after the jump.

Five Possible Jeannies for the Big Screen 'I Dream of Jeannie'

by Allison Waldman, posted Apr 21st 2010 1:03PM
Another week, another story from Hollywood about a beloved TV show being turned into a feature film. Last week it was 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.' and this week it's ... 'I Dream of Jeannie.' Yes, yes, they've talked about this one before. But that was then and this is now and the Los Angeles Times reports that 'I Dream of Jeannie' is back on with Sheila Callaghan, one of the scribes on 'United States of Tara,' has been handed the assignment. That means whatever the writers from 'National Treasure' and 'Mulan' and 'Bend It Like Beckham' who've taken a swing at it in the past few years weren't able to make it work.

There is an essential problem with 'Jeannie,' as anyone who knows the shows realizes. How do you make the story of a love-crazed, subservient slave-like genie who lives in a bottle and calls her astronaut boyfriend master relevant. That's a tough nut to crack, but maybe casting the role of Jeannie would be a start.

ABC Planning 'Charlie's Angels' Remake

by Jane Murphy, posted Nov 13th 2009 11:16AM
ABC is said to be looking at jiggle juggernaut 'Charlie's Angels' for a return to television.

The network is enjoying healthy numbers for 'V,' their remake of NBC's sci-fi opus from 1983. It's one thing to retune a cult favorite, but the Angels have already homered on the big screen and small. Can lightning strike thrice?

I actually like Jay Leno's 10@10

by Jane Boursaw, posted Sep 30th 2009 9:00AM
The Jay Leno Show: Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, 10@10
The Jay Leno Show
has taken a bit of a beating from viewers and critics, but my household has been watching, and we like the show. Sure, there are parts of it that fall a little flat (like, ok, The Real Housewives of Orange County bit last night; Jason didn't like it either), but overall, Jay's pretty funny no matter what he's doing, and we enjoy the show.

One of the bits we like is 10@10, the part where Jay gets celebrities on his screen and asks them ten questions about anything. In last night's episode, he caught up with Billy Crystal, currently in Philadelphia touring with his show, 700 Sundays.

The Jay Leno Show: Michael Moore

by Danny Gallagher, posted Sep 16th 2009 3:37PM
Jay Leno hosting The Jay Leno ShowThe late night talk show process hasn't been refined in any major way since the early days of The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Well there is Carson Daly's show, but I don't count that as a late night talk show ... or a show, for that matter.

You've got your monologue, your one or two comedy bits or sketches and banter with the band and the sidekick, throw in two or three guests, end with a musical performance and you're done. It's comedy by the numbers that works as long as the comedy is funny.

So it's refreshing to see Jay Leno and company retooling the format of the bit, even if the result still screams of the old show. It's also nice to see a show that knows and plays on Leno's strengths and weaknesses as a comedian and a talk show host with the skills of an NFL offensive coordinator, even if it sometimes feels as though that offensive coordinator works for the Detroit Lions.

Cruise, Diaz, Apatow to talk shop on AMC's Storymakers

by Mike Moody, posted May 12th 2009 2:01PM
judd apatowAMC's Storymakers returns this Friday with guests including Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, as well as film directors Nick Cassavetes and Judd Apatow. The show features a round table discussion with the guests and hosts Peter Bart, former editor-in-chief of Variety, and film producer Peter Guber.

I've never seen the show, but I'll definitely catch this Friday's episode. I can't wait to see what the dynamic is like between two great but very different filmmakers like Cassavetes and Apatow, and two pampered stars like Cruise and Diaz.

Saturday Night Live: Alec Baldwin/The Jonas Brothers - VIDEOS

by Annie Wu, posted Feb 15th 2009 2:29PM
Jonas Brothers
(S34E16) It was pretty obvious there was going to be at least two sketches with the Jonas Brothers. I called it! I mean, no one apart from the people in my apartment know I called it, but that doesn't change the facts or my sad sense of accomplishment. I had to tune out once they started singing (sorry, 15 year-old girls), but their skits were all right. Alec Baldwin did a fine job of hosting as well, though there weren't any particularly striking sketches. I suppose after doing something like "Schwetty Balls", just about everything else will pale in comparison.

Today on TV Squad Daily:
  • Mindfreak's Criss Angel is doing damage control about his relationship with Cameron Diaz. Cameron Diaz doesn't need this kind of drama - she just wants to be friends.
  • The Apprentice is coming back? Was there a candy bar campaign I didn't know about?
  • Miss New Jersey received another package of blackmail photos, and won't talk about what's in them except to say they contain nothing illegal.
