Kim Kardashian Demonstrates a Beauty Product on Carrot Top During 'Tonight Show' (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Sep 1st 2010 4:30AM
Kim Kardashian and Carrot Top Visit 'Tonight Show'Kim Kardashian is the new spokesperson for Fusion Beauty, she announced on 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). "Does that involve welding?" joked Jay Leno.

Kardashian wanted to demonstrate the cosmetic line's lip plumper on the host, but he called up a volunteer instead -- Carrot Top. She proceeded to smear a "line-filling luminizer" all over his face to fill lines and "give shimmer."

"That camera could get a little closer, couldn't it?" he said sarcastically. The comedian then grabbed the product from her hand, said, "Does that plump everything?" and pretended to put it down his shorts.

Brian Williams and Jon Stewart: Oh, it's on

by Bob Sassone, posted Jul 27th 2009 12:27PM
This is from last week but I think it's worth showing today, because when Brian Williams went on The Daily Show they didn't just talk about politics, they got into a sometimes good-natured, sometimes prickly trade of insults (some of Stewart's digs are clearly serious, but Williams can give as good as he gets). They also mention Walter Cronkite and Billy Mays.

Last Comic Standing: Season Finale

by Jay Black, posted Sep 20th 2007 12:25AM
Free at last, Free at last, thank God Almighty, free at last!(S05E15) When I used to teach high school English, one of my biggest pet peeves was reading a paper from a student who was obviously stretching two pages of ideas into the required four pages of the assignment. I actually preferred it when students came up short in page count instead of insulting my intelligence with superfluous words, plodding pacing, and ridiculous font and margin tweaks.

Watching the two hour -- that's right two hour -- finale of Last Comic Standing, I couldn't help but be reminded of my teaching days. Tonight's finale was like an essay written using Comic Sans 16 point font...

Oh, and for good measure, they also throw in ... Brad Pitt.

Family Guy: Petergeist

by Bob Sassone, posted May 7th 2006 9:49PM
Joe - Family Guy(S05E16) So I'm sitting in my new apartment, all alone, it's quiet as hell, and I'm watching the opening of The Family Guy and they show a scene from JAG. And I laughed, very loudly, all alone in my apartment. I felt kinda silly, but when Mac asks Harm if anyone even watches the show anymore and he says, "not really, they don't really pay attention" then looks at the camera and says "Remember the forties?" I just lost it.

Sure, JAG isn't even on anymore, but it was still funny.
