Reality show casting calls
by Keith McDuffee, posted Feb 14th 2008 9:57AM
A day hasn't gone by where we haven't received some sort of tip or email asking us, the TV Squad, how to get on [insert reality show here]. Unfortunately no, Simon Cowell does not work for us, and Donald Trump isn't my BFF, so we really can't help all that much. The folks at RealityWanted.com often send us a list of new and existing reality shows that are looking for new, er, talent, and they've given us permission to make mention of them here. We'll try to make this a regular feature as often as we get a new list.
This time we have Million Dollar Password, Dress My Nest, Grill It!, Divorce Court, Whose Wedding is it Anyway? and several new shows.

If I were to apply to be on The Amazing Race

Now, keep in mind, this is if I were to apply to be on the The Amazing Race. I'm not saying I did it, nor am I even saying I plan to apply. If I were to apply to be on any reality show, this would be the one. If I were on Big Brother, I'd probably hide from my whacko housemates. If I were on a dating show, I'd be the first dumped. If I were on a cooking show, they would probably make me eat foods I don't like and I'd leave in tears while gagging. Ah, but The Amazing Race?
Not that I'm applying, but I checked out the 13 page application as casting is on for the next season of the Emmy-winning reality series.
American Inventor: Open casting-calls, part three
by Keith McDuffee, posted Mar 30th 2006 11:06PM
This week it looks like we were treated to scenes from
Washington DC, San Francisco and, again. New York. This was the second to last open casting calls episode before
everyone who's been given the green light comes back to present again. Out of those, 12 will be chosen to receive
$50,000 to further develop their inventions and move on to the finals. Some of the winners (and a couple of losers) after the jump.
