I figure that since Bravo was nice enough to air a new episode of The Fashion Show on last night ticked off Top Chef Masters fans by airing a new episode of The Fashion Show instead that we should talk about the show a bit. Who is watching this? Is it the poor man's Project Runway (coming soon to Lifetime), or does it have its own good points?

(S08E01) Having the opportunity to view this two hour premiere on two separate occasions made it a little easier for me to catch some of those little nuances that make the show so enjoyable.

For starters, Tyra Banks is certifiably insane. In all honesty, I don't know a great deal of information about her but there are two things I know for sure. For one, she is incredibly attractive. That's all I have to say about that.

Second, she is tied with Reese Witherspoon for having the most forehead real estate in Hollywood. In fact, I routinely call her "Fivehead" around the house, but I promise it's a term of endearment.

(S03E13) Damn it. Why must they tease us? This episode had nothing. Nothing. They should have just made tonight a two-hour special, declared the winner, and put us out of our anxious, hand-wringing misery.

But no. We have to wait until next week to find out the Season Three winner.

We didn't even get to the bottom of the Laura/Jeffrey scandal (which wasn't as exciting as I hoped)! It's a double-cliffhanger, folks, the very worst kind of cliffhanger.
