Kathy Griffin Calls Renée Zellweger a "Whore" (VIDEO)
by Oliver Miller, posted Jun 9th 2010 3:45AM
When you hear the words "celebrity feud," Kathy Griffin and Renée Zellweger probably aren't the first two names that come to mind. But you'll know better after watching Griffin's latest comedy special. During her show 'Kathy Griffin Does the Bible Belt' (Tue., 10PM ET on Bravo), the comedienne reveals the details of her ongoing feud with Ms. Zellweger. And things get a little nastier than you might expect.Griffin seems to admit that Renée is a very nice person -- but she just can't resist relentlessly mocking her. First, Kathy confesses that she once called the actress a "sweaty puffy coke whore." Yikes! In response, the very polite Zellweger sent Griffin a bouquet of flowers with the message "Warmest Wishes," in an effort to show that she was in on the joke.
Bob Barker almost a no-show at Game Show Awards because of feud with Betty White
by Danny Gallagher, posted May 30th 2009 2:05PM
It's hard to imagine that anyone would consider TV's sweet-natured grandma Betty White as their "sworn enemy." Except, of course for maybe Mom from Futurama and the bizarro version of Bea Arthur. But apparently that's the label that Price is Right host Bob Barker has bestowed upon the Golden Girl. It turns out the two aren't pals or confidants. Buzzer Blog reported that Barker threatened not to show up to GSN's 2009 Game Show Awards where he accepted a lifetime achievement award along with Mark Goodson and Monty Hall if White was there.
It gets weirder. The whole thing was caused by an elephant. This is starting to sound less like Hollywood gossip and more like a job for Mythbusters.
Will Cramer have his revenge on Stewart?
by Danny Gallagher, posted May 15th 2009 2:02PM
If you thought the celebrity driven feud between The Daily Show's Jon Stewart and Mad Money host Jim Cramer was over, get ready to sigh a big breath of "Oh holy crap, here we go again." That's if you completely believe the quote that the New York Post's Page Six gossip column picked out of an upcoming Time Magazine interview with the CNBC host without reading it in its proper context. So take it with a Lot's wife-sized grain of salt, and if you do automatically believe it, I've got an investment scheme that you might want to get in on.
The newspaper claims that Cramer is biding his time and that Stewart will "answer" for his vicious showdown on Stewart's show.
TV Feuds: Who's Fussin' for Real, Who's Fakin' for Ratings?
by Kim Potts, posted May 5th 2009 5:00PM
Does Donald Trump's guest appearance on 'The View' today (ABC, 11AM ET) mean he and Barbara Walters are officially calling a truce on their TV feud? Well ... The Donald does have a three-hour 'Celebrity Apprentice' finale (Sunday, NBC, 8PM) and yet another business book to promote, while Babs is snagging herself buzz during the all-important Sweeps period. So whether the two -- who first tangled in 2007 after Trump nemesis Rosie O'Donnell's departure from 'The View' -- are really kissing and making up or just taking advantage of a promo op ... you make the call.
Rosie makes Paula Abdul her latest "celenemy"
by Liz Finn-Arnold, posted Jan 19th 2007 4:02PM
Rosie's reportedly at it again. She's causing controversy on The View, making more celebrity enemies, or what I call "celenemies." I've been trying to ignore all the hubbub surrounding her star-studded pissing matches with Trump, Kelly Ripa, and the country of China, but since I'm reporting on all things related to American Idol, I am obligated to bring you the latest. Here's what happened. On Wednesday's episode of The View, Rosie remarked, "Paula was very thirsty last night," implying that Abdul was hitting the sauce throughout the show, until she was blotto. The very next day, angered by the way the judges cruelly treated a certain "monkey-looking" contestant, Rosie called the judges -- "three millionaires, one probably intoxicated."
