American Idol Live Chat Location
by Ryan j Budke, posted Apr 19th 2006 8:00PM
Last night the top seven competitors on
American Idol sang selections from Rod Stewart's vast library, and they still managed to completely underwhelm
me. The only person I went gaga over was Katharine, but Taylor and Chris do tend to impress me just about every week.
Come join me and all the other American Idol fanatics tonight as we find out together live who America didn't like. As
with all of our chats, you'll need AIM or a compatible client (GAIM, Trillian, etc), once you have that, meet back
here, to this very post, at 8pm ET, that's when I'll unveil the location for the chat room. See you
then.Update:

Live 24 Chat Location
by Ryan j Budke, posted Apr 3rd 2006 7:59PM
Someone asked last week if there was going to be anyone left
standing after this season of 24. To be honest, I have no idea. It's certainly looking like that isn't it?
Let's see who's been on for more than one season and is still alive-- Wayne Palmer, the recently assassinated
president's brother, who is currently running for his life through sewers from mysterious men. Aaron Pierce, the
stalwart secret service agent, who's already had a couple of close calls and was last seen canoodling with the First
Lady. Chloe O'Brian, the ever annoyed computer technician who has stayed by Jack's side when most wouldn't. Will any of
these regulars make it through the night, let alone the end of the season? Sound off and let me know, then join me
back here at 8pm EST to this very post and that's when I'll unveil the location for the super secret
chat room. As with all of our chats, you'll need AIM or a compatible messenger, so make sure you have one and I'll see
you tonight. Gravitas!UPDATE:

Dateline to live blog during online predators report
by Anna Johns, posted Feb 2nd 2006 10:03AM
Dateline NBC will add an extra element to its
broadcast on Friday night, an online chat. It's fitting, considering the subject matter. The news magazine will feature
its third report to scare the crap out of parents about sexual predators on the internet. Reporter Chris Hansen and
members of the vigilante group Perverted Justice will lure sexual predators from internet chat rooms to a house in
which they are hiding. When the predator knocks on the door, Hansen and a camera crew will be there to confront the
sicko (they do these undercover reports on the local news here in Portland, and they're pretty darn terrifying).During Friday night's broadcast of Dateline NBC, reporter Chris Hansen will be hosting a live chat to answer questions and tell stories about the sexual predators that didn't make it into the final cut. Of course, this live chat is only for the East coast airing of Dateline from 9-11 pm.
