Review: Castle - Famous Last Words
by Kona Gallagher, posted Nov 3rd 2009 8:30AM

(S02E07) I'm with Beckett here: I really enjoy watching Castle be a dad. I'm very far away from being the parent of a teenager myself, but I feel like people should be taking notes from him. Well, except for the part where she had to put parental controls on his computer. But otherwise, he strikes a nice balance between relating to her and not trying to be the "cool dad." I was impressed last week with how he didn't just let that drunk girl crash on their couch and made Alexis call her parents, despite her protests, and this week, when he made her go to school despite the fact that she was being helpful.
Since that happened at the beginning of the episode, and the entire thing was peppered with Alexis/Castle interactions, I was definitely predisposed to like this episode. It continued to be a strong episode to -- despite the fact that the subject matter made me really uncomfortable.
"Leave Britney Alone!" guy gets 15 more minutes - VIDEO

Chris Crocker has signed a development deal with reality programmer 44 Blue Productions. He's the guy who got his 15 minutes of fame last week when his mascara-run plea to "Leave Britney Alone" appeared on every news and entertainment show under the sun. Crocker, of course, was reacting to all the bad reviews that Britney got for her phoning-it-in performance at the VMAs.44 Blue says it's had an eye on Crocker for over a year but decided to scoop him up when he got massive play last week. If it ever gets a green light, 19-year-old Crocker's program will be reality-style, about his life in Tennessee with his grandparents.
Crocker's famous video is after the jump, and here is where you can see Seth Green's spoof of Crocker.
Seth Green wants you to leave Chris Crocker alone - VIDEO

By now, you've probably heard about Britney Spears superfan Chris Crocker and his tearful pleas to leave poor Britney alone after her not so auspicious return to MTV's Video Music Awards. You haven't seen it yet? Well, click right here to view the video before you continue. Done? Feel scared? Wondering if that's a boy or a girl (it's a boy)? Even more scared? Now you're ready to continue.
As we live in a world of instantaneous ridicule, plenty of videos have gone up on YouTube and other video sties mocking Crocker. One of these comes from Seth Green, he of Robot Chicken and Family Guy fame (oh, and that show that featured a girl vampire killer. Her name was Barbara, Belinda, Beefy . . . I can't remember).
