Natalie Wood's Death to be Reinvestigated by Police

It's been announced that police in Los Angeles are to reopen the inquiry into the drowning death of movie star Natalie Wood. She died in November 1981 aged 43 while boating off Catalina Island near the California coast with her husband Robert Wagner and movie star Christopher Walken. At the time the coroner ruled her death an accident, saying that Wood had been drinking and accidentally fell into the sea, striking her face on the side of the yacht 'Splendour.'However, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept. issued a statement Thursday saying they are re-examining the case. "Recently Sheriff's Homicide Investigators were contacted by persons who stated they had additional information about the Natalie Wood Wagner drowning. Due to the additional information, Sheriff's Homicide Bureau has decided to take another look at the case."
The dept. is due to hold a press conference about the matter on Friday at 11AM PT.

As you may have heard, two 'American Idol' judges -- Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres -- are leaving the show after this season. And some of the other judges may be replaced as well. People! We're facing a desperate lack of 'Idol' judges! How can we solve this pressing problem?Well, fortunately, on 'The Kilborn File' (weeknights, 7PM ET on Fox), host Craig Kilborn swooped in to save the day. During his 'Power Panel,' Craig had several guest comedians suggest possible new alternate judges. Among their suggestions? Mel Gibson and Christopher Walken. (Mel was mentioned because the show needs someone "foreign ... and mean.")
Cool! Mel and Walken! Sort of pretty terrifying. That sounds like the worst/best series ever, but we would definitely at least check it out. Also, during the suggestion phase of the show, comic Kevin Pollak did his Christopher Walken impersonation, which was pretty good. ... But for the record, we still think that this is the best Walken impersonation of all time. We're just saying.*
Christopher Walken's Perfect Day With Regis Philbin (VIDEO)

We're not quite sure why Christopher Walken wants to take a bath at Regis Philbin's house, then feast on a tuna fish sandwich made by Philbin himself, but we're not about to tell him no. On 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated), Walken revealed his plan for the perfect day spent with Philbin."We talked about this before. I was going to take a bath. You were going to make me a sandwich," Walken said. "Tuna fish sandwich, please." But Walken's demands don't stop there. He also says he wants the tuna on "a roll" with "extra mayo." And, once he's done, "We'll take a walk. Then I'll leave."

Robin Williams Talks About New Heart Valve on 'Daily Show' (VIDEO)

More cow valve! When 'The Daily Show' (weeknights, 11PM ET on COM) host Jon Stewart asked Robin Williams how his post-surgery heart was doing, the actor didn't mince words. Always quick with a routine, this one a Christopher Walken impression, "More cow valve," Williams painted a not so lovely image.
"The wonderful thing about a cow valve is you can [bleep] standing up," Williams said, causing Stewart to double over in laughter -- or horror.
"I did not need that image," Stewart said. Us too Jon, us too.

Christopher Walken Discusses His Insecurities on 'The View' (VIDEO)

You wouldn't think it, given his various movie roles playing unhinged sociopaths, but Christopher Walken is actually insecure in himself both professionally and personally, he said on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated)."I'm one of those people who's always got his fingers crossed, you know, professionally, personally," Walken said. "I really just feel that way. I feel that people who are really confident all the time, that there's maybe something wrong with them. It seems to me natural to be nervous."

Christopher Walken Performs Lady Gaga's 'Poker Face' on 'Jonathan Ross' (VIDEO)

Sure, Christopher Walken sometimes plays a tad creepy and more than a little menacing, but as shown by his memorable footwork in Fatboy Slim's 'Weapon of Choice' video, his seven turns as host of 'Saturday Night Live,' and now this clip from BBC America's 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross,' he also does funny.Walken gives a spoken-word performance of Lady Gaga's monster hit 'Poker Face' using his trademark unique speech pattern and bizarre inflection. Once again he proves he could read the ingredients off a frozen package of vegetables and make it hilarious.

A Dead Zone movie is possible

Looks like a Dead Zone movie is possible. Anthony Michael Hall, who starred in the USA network sci-fi show, told SCI-FI wire that he'd be interested in doing a Dead Zone movie. Hall, who played psychic Johnny Smith for the show's six-season run, reminds everyone that he's not optimistic a Dead Zone movie will be made. "I don't think we had the size of a cult following that, let's say, The X-Files did. You look at Sex and the City or The X-Files, these movies were done long after the shows pumped out their last episodes," says the actor. Also, The Dead Zone having a previous incarnation as a feature film might preclude any new attempts. (In the film, which was released in 1983, Christopher Walken starred as Johnny Smith.)Whatever the case may be with the possible movie, Anthony Michael Hall remains grateful about the opportunity to star in The Dead Zone. "I would certainly be open to the potential for [a reunion feature]. I would never turn my back on what [the show's late producer] Michael Piller did for me. He gave me this incredible opportunity. When I look back at [my] career, I view him and John Hughes as almost guardian angels of my career," Hall says.

He also dishes about the finale of Reno 911! (currently in its fifth season), the Upright Citizens Brigade, and Balls of Fury. Oh, and he might mention something about The State reunion.

Saturday Night Live: Christopher Walken/Panic! At the Disco - VIDEOS

(S33E09) The weird thing about Christopher Walken's legendary Saturday Night Live performances is that they all suck. Seriously, think about it. His delivery is jaunty and weird, and when he's not awkwardly staring into the middle distance, he's just glaring directly at the cue cards. All these elements combined should throw him in the realm of the crappiest hosts.... And yet he consistently pulls it off and makes even the worst sketches absolutely brilliant. How is that? Walken is just inherently awesome, I suppose. It's really the only logical explanation. This episode in particular was very poorly written; I'm sure most of the sketches look absolutely pathetic transcribed on paper. However, Walken's aforementioned jaunty awesomeness made it one of the best episodes of the season. He's done it again, folks. I expect a second "SNL: Best of Christopher Walken" DVD is in the works.

I am starting to feel that my statements regarding the extreme disinterest I feel for Saffron Burrows and her character on Boston Legal are becoming repetitive. Therefore I am going to comment one last time on how extremely unsexy the kiss was between her and Alan. All I could think was how much hotter it would be if she were Rhona Mitra. From now on, whenever I feel a longing for Ms. Mitra while watching BL, instead of commenting on it, I will go and rent The Hollow Man instead.
James Spader has to be to television what Christopher Walken is to movies. How he can go from a defenseless, lovesick puppy to a slimy, lecherous shyster in the blink of an eye is an acting skill I would kill to have. Pamela Adlon is certainly sexy in her own way but as an actor, I would have a hard time putting the moves on Bobby Hill.

Bruce Willis made an unexpected appearance as a Giant Head. I think he's the first non-anchor guy to play that role? Anyway, he did the usual put-downs, telling Jon that Christopher Walken, the night's guest, doesn't really care for him. The Giant Head gag needs to die a quick, silent "Seat of Heat" kind of death. A part of me feels like they're only keeping the joke around because they built that screen for that very purpose. "But if we don't do the Giant Head gag, what will we do with the screen? Cheri Oteri, the actress who spent five years on Saturday Night Live playing different variations of the same
character. She always played it wide-eyed and hyper. Want examples? Sure! There's Ariana the cheerleader, prescription
drug lady, old lady on the porch (was that Rita Delvecchio?), and even Mickey the Dyke. Although, I did enjoy her in
the morning news spoof she did with Will Ferrell when the teleprompter went out and they resorted to cannibalism. And,
I know the women haven't received a fair shake on the show, but she's downright annoying. Give me a Best of
Jane Curtin or Jan Hooks or Nora Dunn!I've already got the Christopher Walken (just for the cowbell) and Will Ferrell 'best of's and if I were to add a DVD to my collection, it would have to be Phil Hartman. Best character actor. Ever.

Law and Order SVU: The Valentines

There's this artist out there named Brandon Bird who has a special
place in his heart for everything that is Law and Order. I own his original Law and Order coloring
book ("An Adventure to Color!"), which follows Briscoe and Curtis as they seek a murder suspect and then on
to the trial. The last page is a word scramble to figure out the verdict: LYTIGU. Funny stuff.Now Brandon has it in for Law and Order: SVU. He has created some Valentines featuring the main characters from that franchise. My favorite is Ice-T, with the saying, "I'm on your tail". You can actually order these things for Valentine's Day. Check 'em out here.
In addition, Brandon does a bunch of cool Star Wars drawings, including this Ewok poster that I totally want. He also seems to have a bit of an obsession with James Woods, Christopher Walken (who doesn't?) and Edward Norton.
