While there was a very minor cross-over event with 'NCIS: Los Angeles,' the bigger shock to the system on 'Hawaii Five-0' (Mon, 10PM ET on CBS) was the appearance of retired UFC champ Chuck Liddell. Even worse, he was there to lay the beatdown on McGarrett, after McGarrett injured his intended opponent in a charity event.

You have to give McGarrett credit for heart, and he didn't stay down when he could have. He gave it his all, but this is the 'Iceman,' and McGarrett's all doesn't even come close to leaving a lasting impression on the Hall-of-Famer. But at least Alex O'Loughlin can now say that he stepped into the ring with Chuck Liddell and lived to tell the tale.

On 'Access Hollywood Live' (weekdays, syndicated), Karina Smirnoff of 'Dancing With the Stars' reveals she met fiance Brad Penny through ultimate fighter and former 'DWTS' contestant Chuck Liddell. And she explains what drew her to the major league pitcher.

UFC fighter Chuck Liddell stopped by 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' (weeknights, 12:37AM ET on NBC) to teach the host how to fight like a champ.

Liddell showed Fallon and Fred Armisen how to perform the rear naked choke. Yep, that's what it's called, but thankfully all the clothing stayed on, unlike that video of Liddell that made its way around the Web. After several winces of pain at the hands of Liddell, Fallon got to test out his new skills on Armisen ... and ended up hurting himself.

Apparently, 'The Ultimate Fighter' legend Chuck Liddell works out in the nude with his girlfriend. We're with Jimmy Kimmel on this.

"I don't work out a whole lot," he said on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (12:05AM ET on ABC), "but I was under the impression that people wore clothes when they did."

I guess if you can spend $20,000 for gym equipment, you don't have to worry about spending any money for pants. Either that, or you're too broke to buy pants. And Liddell really needs them with those chicken legs.

(S09E09) I didn't notice until the first recap of many that the women outscored most of the men on Dancing with the Stars last night. Apparently, the four new dances provided a bigger challenge for all the people who had to lead the dance.

With the musical guest being Shakira, I was hoping that I could see a live performance of "She Wolf." Alas, she didn't perform the song, so I'm stuck hearing it for every commercial for Desperate Housewives. There was no Macy's Stars of Dance performance, so there was a lot more unnecessary filler than in previous weeks.

(S9E08) This week on Dancing with the Stars we welcome four new dances: Two-Step, Bolero, Charleston, and Lambada. Lifts are allowed, so Carrie Ann really has no reason to be here this week. Also, most of the professionals have no clue what they are doing this week.

With the opening credits being shown, I know it's going to be one of those nights where it's dance, commercial, dance, commercial, with a lot of Tom hyping up the results show. Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of fast forwarding past Samantha Harris. I really dislike the use of the 60-second commercials; let me get the scores right after the judging.

ABC announced the new Dancing with the Stars cast today. If you've been living under a rock the past few years, the announcement of the new DWTS cast is now given all of the gravitas as the naming of a new Pope.
