Jon Stewart Impersonates Chuck Schumer to Review 'Star Wars' (VIDEO)
by Jason Hughes, posted Jul 29th 2011 4:24AM
Jon Stewart may have just given us a reason to watch MSNBC with his latest impression on 'The Daily Show' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on Comedy Central). Now it requires Senator Chuck Schumer of MSNBC to have seen the show, and to like the idea of reviewing movies. But if we can get him on board, we think he could give anyone a run for their money. Certainly, he would be the most entertaining movie critic on television.
Because Republicans used a scene from the movie 'The Town' to try and convince Tea Party members to support their stance on the debt ceiling situation, Schumer was describing the film, and Stewart found his presentation to be hilarious.
Jon Stewart Mocks Democrats' Plan to Label Republicans 'Extreme' (VIDEO)
by Jeremy Taylor, posted Apr 6th 2011 5:00AM
Last week, an open mic caught Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer explaining that he had been instructed by his caucus to always use the word "extreme" when referring to Republicans. On 'The Daily Show' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on Comedy Central), John Stewart played a clip of Schumer's live-mic gaffe, and then followed it up with a clip of the senator actually using the word "extreme" when talking about the GOP in a televised speech.
Stewart was not impressed with either the Democrats' (meant-to-be) secret strategy, or how Schumer applied it. "Democrats are just weak," Stewart argued, after watching the clips, and looking exasperated.

"Indecision 2008: To Drill or Not to Drill": High gas prices continue to be a huge problem across the country, as citizens have been weeping into their gas tanks just to get something in there. Naturally, drilling is a hot topic in the current presidential race. The media has also been making a big deal out of Obama's suggestion that citizens check their tire pressures, as adjusting to proper numbers does some nice-nice things to gas mileage. Leave the lolz-making to Daily Show, Fox News. Also, I don't believe the remark about Oedipus and President Bush created quite the mental image that they intended. I'm having trouble looking at Barbara Bush now.The Daily Show: January 25, 2007

John Kerry made an important announcement about his decision to not run in 2008... Well, actually, it wasn't a real announcement, it was just Kerry completing his concession speech.Wolf Blitzer interviewed Vice President Cheney... Of course, Blitzer wanted answers and Cheney wanted to avoid giving answers, especially when it came to his pregnant daughter, Mary, who is in a gay relationship. I don't think Jon even needs to do Cheney jokes anymore... All he needs to do is show a clip and then quack for, like, five minutes.
