katie couric; todayThis morning's tearful good-bye to Katie Couric is available on Today's website (you have to download a free video player to see it). NBC spent most of Today sending off Katie and wishing her well. She held it together until about 40 minutes into the show, when the tears started flowing. Katie spent 15 years as the host of Today and will now go on to anchor CBS Evening News. Her good-bye fest includes appearances by Willard Scott, Tony Bennett, Joan Rivers and 15 years' worth of Katie Couric hairstyles.

Meredith Vieira joins Today in September. Katie joins CBS News as anchor and managing editor, also in September.
