Coming soon: Hell's Kitchen, the video game

There have been odder ideas for video games, I just can't think of one right now.
Games company Ludia, Inc will release a video game based on the hit TV show Hell's Kitchen. The game will be in stores next summer, but not in the US. It will first be released in the UK. The game will have chef Gordon Ramsay commenting on the meals that players create. It will also come with a recipe book!
Judge lets Gordon Ramsay film a second season of his show
Remember a while back when we told you about Gordon Ramsay being sued by a restaurant manager who accused the celebrity chef of making up scenes and catastrophes for Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares? Here's an update.
A Federal Judge in Manhattan has throw the case out of court. However, this doesn't mean that the case is over. The two parties now have to go into abritration to resolve the conflict. And the lawyer for the restaurant manager says that he expects the case to go back to court at some point.
But it does mean that Ramsay is now free to film the next season of Kitchen Nightmares. The show airs in the U.S. on BBC America. I haven't seen the show yet but I hear that Ramsay is a little nicer in this one and there's a huge reduction in the amount of F-bombs thrown in the kitchen.
Hell's Kitchen: Episode 8
(S02E08) So there are four chefs left. And this has sort of turned into The Wizard of Oz: Keith needs a brain, Sara needs a heart, Virginia needs courage, and Heather...well, the comparison ends there I guess, because I can't think of something for her. Maybe she wants to find her way back home, I don't know. Sorry, lost the joke there somewhere.
The four chefs get their own restaurant in the first challenge...but it's not what they think.
Hell's Kitchen: Episodes 1 and 2 (season premiere)
(S02E01/S02E02) As the second season of this reality show begins and the players are introduced, I'm really not sure who the hell deserves a multi-million dollar restaurant at a billion dollar Las Vegas resort (Red Rock). Seriously, which of these people would you entrust that kitchen to? Maybe Heather? The others don't really impress. Here's the rundown on the other contestants and the first meals they make for chef Gordon Ramsay:
A question about Top Chef
I just saw an ad for the Bravo show Top Chef during
a repeat of Celebrity Poker Showdown (Brandi Chastain - not a very good player), and in this week's episode
they have a challenge where the chefs are given $20 and have to buy ingredients in a gas station convenience store and
make something from that.OK, I understand the entertainment/reality show aspect of this (I know that Project Runway does this too, giving the contestants a little money to spend at a supermarket and they have to make dresses out of corn husks and light bulbs - they want to see if you can handle yourself under pressure and be creative), but what is the real life, real world reason for this? These cooks want to become real chefs working in real restaurants. Is this situation - they only have 20 bucks to spend at the gas station, and the President is coming to the restaurant! - ever going to come up?
I mean, when you go to medical school, do the professors make you perform surgery in the middle of a busy highway during rush hour?
