TV Squad Ten: The coolest characters on TV now
by Allison Waldman, posted Feb 9th 2009 2:28PM
What is cool? Can you define that thing, that quality that makes certain characters seem like they're more with it than everyone around them? Maybe cool is a state of being, not a thing you can pick up by wearing Armani or drinking Grey Goose or driving a BMW.As I was looking around the current crop of television shows, I found ten characters who seem to capture the essence of cool -- whether they know it or not. After the jump, we count them down.
Topps releases Hollywood Zombie cards
by Adam Finley, posted May 29th 2007 4:21PM
Remember Garbage Pail Kids, those gross little trading cards featuring such classic characters as Shaggy Aggie and Eaten Ethan, among many, many others?
Well, if you loved those icky little kids, you might also like a new series from Topps called Hollywood Zombies. The cards are probably a little too sick for some tastes, but they were designed by some truly amazing artists, including Jay Lynch, Mark Stutzman and many others.

by Adam Finley, posted Feb 25th 2007 4:01PM

MythBusters: Exploding Pants (finale)
by Keith McDuffee, posted May 12th 2006 3:10PM
(S03E16) Another season down. I really couldn't imagine this show not being renewed for another season, so here's looking forward to the next one. This is one of those guilty-pleasure shows that I have to TiVo and watch later in the week, but it's always worth it.This week, the MythBusters tackle one very weird myth, the myth of the exploding pants, and a few myths that seem very applicable today: the great gas conspiracy.
