What do 'One Tree Hill' and 'Life Unexpected' have in common? Aside from a Tuesday timeslot on the CW and a knack for heartfelt drama, the two shows also have the honor of headlining the CW's first ever coast-to-coast crossover event on Tue., Oct. 12.

Since the dramas are all about dysfunctional family units and both feature semi-unreliable (but very attractive) guys called Nate, this crossover seems like a no-brainer to us, and maybe it'll pave the way for another bi-coastal exchange ('Gossip Girl' meets '90210', anyone?) if the fans approve.

It's a tech geek team-up as 'Eureka' uber-nerd Fargo (Neil Grayston) visits computer hacker Claudia (Allison Scagloitti) on tonight's episode of 'Warehouse 13.'

The Syfy crossover -- which continues with Friday's episode of 'Eureka' -- was inspired by Grayston and Scagliotti's real-life friendship, the pair told reporters recently.

"Our chemistry plays so well in life that I think our respective show runners and the good people over at Syfy realized what a commodity it could be to blend these shows," Scagliotti said during a conference call on Monday.

If you want a glimpse of summer -- TV style -- check out the new crossover promotion for the USA Network summer series, 'Burn Notice' and 'Royal Pains.' The shows return on Thursday, June 3, back to back at 9 PM and 10 PM.

Just the sight of 'Burn Notice's' Bruce Campbell as Sam Axe -- sucking down a mojito -- and 'Royal Pains' Paulo Costanzo as Evan Lawson -- hanging by the beach in the Hamptons -- was like a refreshing summer breeze off the Atlantic. These shows scream summer, don't you agree?
