The Donald tried to keep it hush-hush, but The New York Post has revealed the cast of Donald Trump's next edition of the 'Celebrity Apprentice.' 'Rock of Love' star Bret Michaels, 'America's Got Talent' judge and Osbourne mama Sharon Osbourne, pop star Cyndi Lauper, former pro baseball star Darryl Strawberry and scandal-plagued former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich top the list.

Well, not so fast, Mr. Governor ...

"Bonfire of the Vanity" may not have been the most earth-shattering episode of The CW's Gossip Girl. However, it pushed all current storylines (minus the Nate storyline) a bit forward to prepare for the big twists and turns coming up later this month when November Sweeps wraps up thus sending us in GG hiatus until 2009 arrives.

The highlight of this week's episode was definitely Blair trying to act all grown up. But the icing on the cake was seeing her being out played by toad Cyrus.

Count Grammy and Emmy-winner Cyndi Lauper as a fan of As the World Turns' gay couple Noah and Luke. Like the dedicated "Nuke" lovers out there, Cyndi's been anxious for the duo's romance to move more swiftly on the soap. She's decided to do something about it -- and promote her new album at the same time. Cyndi Lauper will appear as herself on the July 3 episode of As the World Turns, sing a couple of songs and subtly let Luke and Noah know that she supports their relationship.

The controversy surrounding Nuke's soap story -- that their romance is moving too slowly because they're not heterosexual, but homosexual -- has vexed fans. Lauper told Entertainment Weekly, "I think they're young, these guys, and they're sweet. They're taking their time and struggling with the heart issues, which is even more endearing than just being like the straight couples, half-naked and having sex all over the place. The best way to people is through the heart, and that's why I think it's kind of interesting the way they've done it. It's about love.''

The list of singers agreeing to appear on FOX's Duets, a contest that pairs regular celebrities with singing celebrities, is a mixture of has-beens, legends, and Michael Bolton. The singers are: Cyndi Lauper, Smokey Robinson, Chaka Khan, Clint Black, Dionne Warwick, Patti LaBelle, Brian McKnight, Macy Gray, Kenny Loggins, Richard Marx, Randy Travis, and Aaron Neville. That's actually a pretty impressive list. I think many of those singers have done guest appearances on American Idol.

Now... who would make an interesting pair? I wouldn't be surprised to see Nicollette Sheridan coupled with her fiance, Michael Bolton. How about Punky Brewster with Cyndi Lauper? And Johnny Fairplay with Macy Gray?

The series debuts August 29th. The celebrity pairs will be eliminated each week by judges and viewer votes.
